Per puro caso ho scoperto ieri che su Netflix é disponibile la seconda stagione di Love, Death & Robots. La prima stagione mi é piaciuta molto, sono curioso di vedere se questa seconda é all'altezza.
Ieri sera ho visto i primi episodi di Love, Death & Robots, e mi sono piaciuti. É una serie dalle indiscutibili qualitá artistiche e tecniche. Ho notato alcune caratteristiche derivative che sembrano "citare" opere passate, non necessariamente nel senso buono (leggi: scopiazzano), ma non credo che rovinino la visione complessiva. Guardandolo, non potevo non pensare "ecco che ora vedró qualcosa di originale, finalmente" e anche se magari in questi episodi potevano osare di piú, in ogni caso mi sono piaciuti.

Tutte le storie sono basate su opere di autori conosciuti: John Scalzi, Joe Lansdale, Paolo Bacigalupi, ecc.
Ah! Comunque mi riferivo ad altri elementi. Ad esempio, l'idea dei robot che si "ribellano" non é decisamente nuova (e qui é presente in ben 2 dei corti) cosí come l'atmosfera noir alla blade runner é stata decisamente di ispirazione per un'altro. Uno dei corti ricorda moltissimo, come tema, Gattaca, etc.
Poi, ovvio che a ben vedere si trovano riferimenti in ogni opera, nessun autore vive nel vuoto, peró in questo caso mi é parso particolarmente evidente in piú di una occasione e, vista la natura antologica e "sperimentale" di questa serie, mi é parso un pó un peccato.
Sì, nella seconda stagione c'è poco di originale o memorabile.
la seconda non ho letto grandi recensioni anzi...peccato perchè alla fine se ci si ferma solo al lato violento mi sembra un occasione persa. la prima non tutti chiaramente ma la maggior parte degli episodi erano interessanti.
C'é da dire anche che si é passati da 18 episodi a 8, giocoforza avranno pensato fosse piú prudente non "rischiare" troppo. Mi pare un pó quello che é successo con Black Mirror, diventato sempre meno interessante ad ogni stagione.
Viste le prime tre stagioni di How I Met Your Mother. Al di là dell'umorismo, molto classico per questo tipo di sit-com, ciò che mi piace di questa serie è la narrazione non esclusivamente verticale, con molti riferimenti ad avvenimenti passati e anticipazioni di fatti futuri, che poi effettivamente si verificano. Per ora la trovo una sit-com molto gradevole, anche se mi chiedo come mai il finale sia risultato tanto contestato e criticato visto che si sa fin dall'inizio
che Robin non sarà la madre dei figli di Ted.
Ovviamente il miglior personaggio è Barney, che oggi sarebbe considerato politicamente scorretto per via del suo rapporto con le donne che seduce con storie assurde e quasi sempre abbandona con scuse ridicole.
Ho seguito HIMYM solo saltuariamente, ma da quello che ho capito il problema della stagione finale
ricalca in parte quello della S8 di GOT, una malagestione della tempistica.

Ho letto lo spoiler. In effetti è un problema abbastanza comune in questo genere di produzioni, il finale di una serie tv/sit-com lunga e popolare è sempre una faccenda delicata perché ha la potenzialità di soddisfare il pubblico o deluderlo. Comunque voglio vedere per credere.
Mi ricordo che Yotobi fece uno dei suoi video più famosi sul finale di HIMYM e disse, fra varie cose (resto sul generico),
una roba del tipo: è come se, in una serie TV sul calcio, per 20 puntate una squadra si preparasse alla partita della vita, e nella puntata conclusiva ci fosse l'annuncio che è stata annullata.

La cosa migliore che disse Yotobi in quel video fu:"coniglio o anatra?"
Alla ognuno di noi sceglierà se concentrarsi sui 22 episodi precedenti al gran finale o sui 184 episodi precedenti alla stagione finale e, credo, che avremmo tutti ragione.
ho scoperto che stanno per girare live action di one pieces. io lo guardavo da ragazzino ma devo dire che una serie basata sul quel mondo sarebbe interessante. sperando che siano fedeli all'originale. girano voci che sarà una serie abb violenta e dark e che ci siano in ballo nomi pesanti....produzione netflix sperando appunto non apportino cambiamenti per questioni diciamo politiche/immagine.
