Come ho postato qui nella discussione dedicata, il 15 gennaio esce su Netflix la terza parte di Disincanto, la sit-com animata fantasy di Matt Groening e David Cohen.
Opinioni a riguardo? Mi ricordo che in passato se n'era parlato in questa discussione, e nell'altra discussione mi sento molto solo a continuare il mio monologo.
Finita la S1 di Boris. L'amico che me l'ha consigliata mi ha detto che migliora col tempo, ma già la prima stagione è molto buona.
Ho solo un dubbio di trama:
ma dopo che Itala ha dato il lardo a Boris, quest'ultimo è effettivamente morto ed è stato sostituito? Il dubbio mi viene perché quando Arianna dice ad Alessandro di comprare un pesce identico di ricambio, Alessandro guarda il pesce morente come se gli fosse venuta un'idea, il che mi fa pensare che forse in quel momento gli è venuto in mente come riportarlo in salute.
In ogni caso sarei veramente curioso di vedere questa orribile soap opera Gli occhi del cuore 
Tra parentesi, solo dopo aver visto tutti gli episodi della S1 mi sono accorto che nei titoli di testa i protagonisti cantano la sigla di Elio e le Storie Tese!
Se ricordo bene c'è una scena in cui fanno vedere che Boris si è ripreso da solo.
Quanto alla qualità delle stagioni, faccio fatica a dire quale sia la migliore, le ho apprezzate molto tutte e tre.

Ho visto Alice in Borderland, idee interessanti ma si perde abbastanza nel finale, vedrei comunque una nuova stagione. Certo che Netflix ha qualche grosso problema con il ritmo delle serie...

Nella scena in cui Alessandro guarda in modo strano Boris la boccia non è mostrata, giusto?

E invece mi sa che hai ragione tu, perché ora che ci penso ricordo una scena del genere, seppur molto breve.
Viene inquadrata la postazione in cui di solito sta René e la boccia di Boris, ed effettivamente si sentono fuori campo Alessandro e Arianna che parlano del fatto che il pesce rosso si è ripreso.
Comunque non è che hanno spiegato questo passaggio proprio benissimo
Ho approfittato della pigrizia natalizia per recuperare qualche serie:
L'Alienista 2: a mio modesto parere non all'altezza della prima stagione per trama né per intreccio, ma comunque bella con le giuste dosi di thriller, gotico e "splatter". Ancora una volta ne sconsiglio la visione durante e subito dopo i pasti (oh, che vi devo dire? io ho lo stomaco delicato 
).
La regina degli scacchi: salutata come uno dei migliori prodotti seriali dell'anno, è stata in effetti una bella sorpresa. Mi è piaciuto tutto: estetica, costruzione scenica, personaggi, interpretazioni e naturalmente trama - vabbè che con una base letteraria di Walter Tevis ("lo spaccone", "il colore dei soldi", "l'uomo che cadde sulla terra") era difficile sbagliare su quest'ultimo punto.

Sono arrivato alla 2x04 di Boris. Cominciano ed emergere elementi di trama orizzontale in queste prime puntate, ed è una cosa che apprezzo.
Cito solo gli attacchi di panico di Biascica, il rapporto tormentato tra Alessandro e la sua fidanzata (e il suo rapporto particolare con Arianna), i problemi sul set di René (in particolare con Mariano e Karin) e la faccenda del licenziamento di Gloria.
Fra l'altro anche dal punto di vista tecnico questa S2 mi pare migliore della S1, la fotografia sembra più nitida.
Viste recentemente su Netflix
Barbari
produzione tedesca sulla disfatta di Teutoburgo. Mi ha sorpreso in positivo perché mi aspettavo una porcata totale e invece la ricostruzione storica non è così male. Ho apprezzato molto l'uso del latino.
Forti perplessità sull'attore scelto per il protagonista che con quella faccia risulta assai poco credibile (forse doveva sembrare tormentato ma sembra solo tonto e di sicuro incapace di ispirare carismatico come invece dovrebbe) una specie di novello Theon tuttavia col merito di mostrare di più segni di tentennamento. Anche se il momento topico del cambio casacca avviene un po' a caso.
Peccato forse che la vera azione sia liquidata all'ultima puntata e il finale sia un po' tirato via col lunghissimo monologo che non significa nulla.
Pare ci sia una seconda stagione.
I delitti di Valhalla
Bellissime ambientazioni, regia con costruzione delle scene particolare. La storia forse è un po' fiacca e hanno stufato questi poliziotti sempre pieni di drammi personali che finiscono per prendere il sopravvento sulle indagini. Spaccato che comunque dà molto da pensare sulla millantata perfezione delle società e welfare nordici. Non male comunque.
E' sempre un dispiacere che quando tutti i lupi dovrebbero sollevarsi, un posto possa rimanere vuoto.

Finita la S2 di Boris. L'ho molto apprezzata, la comicità è surreale e graffiante al punto giusto, e come ho detto in precedenza è tecnicamente meglio diretta della S1. Non ho tuttavia capito il finale:
abbiamo che René, senza una giustificazione apparente (o almeno che io abbia compreso), abbandona la regia de Gli occhi del cuore e si dedica al progetto su Machiavelli, definito da tutti una chimera. Riguardo quest'ultimo punto, è una scena vera o è frutto della sua immaginazione?
