Dura 2 ore e mezza ed è molto lento ma il suo lavoro lo va bene, credo che @Euron Gioiagrigia non avrà difficoltà a considerala una pellicola dignitosa.
E' un buon prologo ma ha senso solo se avrà un seguito, in caso contrario è un film monco.

Interessante quell'articolo, tanto piú che si potrebbe fare lo stesso discorso su tantissimi altri generi e sottogeneri. Credo che alla fine sia un'altra voce del coro che sempre piú chiede a gran voce che si torni ad "investire" sulla storia perché alla fine della fiera, é con la storia (personaggi, emozioni) che l'essere umano crea una connessione, non con le luci e gli effetti...
ieri sera cinema dopo tanto tempo...per Dune.
beh grande film poco da fare. capisco chiaramente, avendo letto i libri (fino al terzo) che non è per tutti ma la trasposizione è stata fatta veramente bene. chiaro alcuni aspetti e personaggi non sono approfonditi ma è naturale, un film non può avere la complessità di un libro. ma tutta la parte intesa come costumi, scenografie ecc è un opera d'arte. le navi e le città sono incredibili come anche tutti gli spazi interni dove si svolge l'azione. e anche i vermoni tanta roba. poi si riesce a conferire l'idea di qualcosa di gigantesco, appunto da scala universale/spaziale.
cast stellare, vorrei vederlo in lingua originale. soprattutto il barone.
leggendo commenti in giro x la maggior parte è piaciuto tanto ma c'è anche un nutrito gruppo che lo definisce noioso e che non succede niente (che poi non è vero visto che se uno fa elenco dei fatti avvenuti altro che non succedere niente). purtroppo per tanti se non ci sono dialoghi continui (di cui 90% inutili) e azione a caso tutto diventa pesante.
speriamo la warner non faccia scherzi perchè privare questo film della seconda parte sarebbe un peccato mortale. anche perchè se nella seconda parte si fa un ulteriore step tutto il film inteso come parte 1 e 2 potrebbe diventare veramente un capolavoro.

Non è chiaro se faranno solo un secondo film o se sarà una trilogia comprendente anche Messia di Dune.
A me il film è piaciuto molto, sia dal punto di vista tecnico che di trama e recitazione. Avrei gradito, tuttavia, qualche spiegazione in più relativamente a certi aspetti del contesto sociale dell'Imperium, non tanto per me ma per chi è un completo neofita della saga.

spiegati sono spiegati. anche su imperium. chiaro non si poteva fare di più con il rischio di fare degli spiegoni. unica cosa proprio non spiegata sono i mentat. infatti anche il jihad butleriano non viene mai citato.
cmq tornando al discorso verso la fine quando parlano di caos ecc... fanno un po' capire l'equilibrio tra imperium, casate ecc...magari alcune cose si pensava di spiegarle meglio con la seconda parte.
sul seguito in effetti era meglio se avessero girato subito anche la seconda parte ma visto la tipologia di storia ed universo forse temevano un flop. del resto non parliamo di marvel o sw. cioè non è un film per tutti anzi.
importante cmq è che chiudano almeno primo libro. poi se facessero anche il secondo meglio ancora. ma penso che finita la storia di paul la chiudono lì (è vero c'è anche nel terzo ma cmq col secondo per gli spettatori sarebbe finita la sua storia).
poi magari potrebbe espandersi con serie tv. una dovrebbe già essere in cantiere.
sarebbe interessante vedere secondo me altri mondi che nei libri (almeno quelli che ho letto) non si vedono. sostanzialmente lasciare arrakis. o sviluppare cmq storie che non sono presenti nei libri.

È andata esattamente come hai detto tu, Villeneuve ha spiegato che voleva girare almeno i primi 2 film back-to-back ma la Warner ha preferito la prudenza. Visto il successo al botteghino Europeo (e neanche tutto) ci sono buone speranze che vada bene anche in America ed Asia e che i seguiti abbiano luce verde.
beh è un tipo di film molto rischioso....cioè ormai marvel e altre franchise anche se producono "m...a" hanno sempre ottimi incassi. questo già in partenza sai che nn è un film per tutti. e chiaramente visto il contesto devi fare un film ad alto budget altrimenti viene fuori una porcheria.
scelta dalla warner che x me ci sta tutta. cmq i segnali sono incoraggianti. però ci sono differenze tra vari mercati. se qui in europa incassa bene non significa faccia lo stesso in america e soprattutto cina.
@Jacaerys Velaryonpenso sia per il termine usato. perchè 2 min per spiegare mentat e citare la jihad ci potevano stare. anche perchè nel libro è classico evento del passato citato ma praticamente mai spiegato, se non a grandissime linee.
Allora l'ho visto ieri sera...
Confezionato bene è confezionato bene (a tratti manca solo il banner con scritto "c'abbiamo i soldi oh"), per il resto molto noioso e asettico (ma è un tratto anche del romanzo). Estremamente lungo senza tuttavia toccare chissà quali eventi/temi cardine o trattarli in modo approfondito. Credo che 1/3 del film sia rappresentato dai flashforward/visioni di Paul.
Infine non ho gradito per niente la scelta del finale in quel punto.
Quasi quasi mi era piaciuto di più il film di Lynch.
Insomma soldi del biglietto sprecati per me.
