No Hobbit girls, ma una certa Eowyn c'è. Una cui per puro caso tende ad assomigliare una certa Arya, anche se il personaggio di Eowyn è 1000 volte più poetico (e pure credibile dato che sarebbe Martin quello che scrive cose credibili). Ha fatto tutto da solo eh
non vedo nessuna somiglianza con tra Arya e Eowyn, Semmai vedo un rapporto di antitesi e complementarietà tra Cersei e Eowyn. Cersei è l'opposto di Eowyn, in tutto, e secondo me è intenzionale.

Un parallelismo (non perfetto ovviamente, ma nessun parallelismo lo è) che avevo letto era tra Eowyn e Brienne, invece che tra Eowyn e Arya.

entrambe mal sopportano le imposizioni di una società maschile, aspirano a qualcosa di più e rinunciano alla loro femminilità (ed anche identità) per combattere per coloro che amano. Se poi vogliamo seguire la serie TV entrambe sconfiggono uno dei principali nemici in modo inaspettato proprio grazie alle loro caratteristiche peculiari.
Brienne verrebbe più immediato, ma in realtà, in base a quello che ho scritto, io vedo più vicine Arya ed Eowyn proprio per la loro insoddisfazione per la loro condizione. Anche se non vicinissime per carità (e per fortuna dato che una non la sopporto proprio, mentre l'altra è un bel personaggio).
E' sempre un dispiacere che quando tutti i lupi dovrebbero sollevarsi, un posto possa rimanere vuoto.

Skye Hallam ha circa 29 anni, è molto alta e ha i capelli scuri. Io la vedo benissimo nel ruolo di Black Aly.
Olivia Chenery potrebbe essere Sabitha Frey.
Il casting di Henry Meredith è il più interessante perché l'attore ha solo 12 anni, anche se ha già recitato in una serie.
La scelta più ovvia è Bloody Ben, che nei libri ha 11 anni e personalmente adorerei un casting del genere.
Tuttavia alcuni utenti hanno notato un post di Henry in cui dice "Sto lavorando ad una serie in cui sarò il figlio di un grande attore" e hanno ipotizzato che il bambino sia un recasting di Joffrey Velaryon o addirittura di Aegon III, figli di Matt Smith.
Tuttavia il "grande attore" potrebbe anche essere quello scelto per interpretare Samwell Blackwood, il padre di Ben. Anche perché credo (e spero) che la serie darà spazio ai Blackwood in modo da spianare la strada a Bloodraven.
In alternativa, visto che Henry è biondo, lo vedrei bene come Trystane Truefire, figlio di Viserys (ma forse è presto per introdurlo).

Uhmm... si, però la tua domanda è stata spunto proprio per farmi riflettere che gli alberi diga o Alberi Bianchi richiamano quello più famoso di LOTR, l'albero di Gondor, che non a caso è sullo stemma di Gondor. Non credo sia una somiglianza casuale. Probabilmente Martin si è ispirato a quello e al Palantir per creare gli Alberi Diga.

Dalle foto e dai video provenienti nelle scorse settimane dal set spagnolo sembra che l'emblema dei Verdi sarà un drago dorato su campo verde scuro (per cui possiamo giustificare in universe il personaggio che menziona nella prima stagione un "drago verde" ritenendo che abbia commesso una svista).
L'emblema dei Neri sul set gallese è meno chiaro: gira voce che questi vessilli sgranati rappresentino un drago nero su campo nero, ma a mio parere non avrebbe senso (auspico che possa essere un drago nero su campo verde acqua, in omaggio ai Velaryon).
