Comunque, anch'io trovo molto campata per aria l'idea che Benioff e Weiss non potessero fare di meglio. Non credo che fosse un'impresa ciclopica sviluppare, tanto per fare due esempi, un arco narrativo dorniano meno imbarazzante o un kingsmoot che non sembrasse una riunione di condominio tra buzzurri.

Penso che l'intento fosse:
"Facciamo queste trame alla buona e passiamo in fretta quelle principali, che tanto agli spettatori frega solo di quelle".
Una cosa che accomuna HOTD e GOT è secondo me l'eccessiva semplificazione e omissione delle casate principali dei 7 Regni e dei loro vassalli, dei legami di vassallaggio tra lord protettore e suoi alfieri
HOTD forse dopo due staggioni ha fatto qualcosa in più rispetto al totale scempio di D&D
