Penso che per la HBO scene e/o dialoghi di questo tipo siano inevitabili, quasi fossero un marchio distintivo. Ho visto solo tre show di tale emittente: GoT, Euphoria e alcune puntate della prima stagione di Girls. Sono serie tv molto diverse tra loro a livello di storia e tematiche ma in tutte quante sono presenti elementi pruriginosi in misura più o meno elevata. Non credo sia una coincidenza

A me non è piaciuto perché Martin si lamentava della politica fiscale di Aragorn ma poi si concentra quasi solo sulle vicende amorose dei Targaryen. Certi personaggi (soprattutto femminili) del libro praticamente esistono solo per i loro pruriti. I matrimoni dei figli di jaerys e alysanne poi, per un re definito conciliatore e abile, non hanno nulla di politico o sono poco sensati.

Quando Daenerys entra nella pira con Mirri Maz Duur sa per certo che ne sarebbe uscita viva. Questo perché? Probabilmente (almeno quello che ho interpretato io) perché già sa di essere ignifuga lasciando intenderedopo l'esecuzione di Viserys che anche lui sarebbe dovuto sopravvivere se fosse stato un Drago, quindi potrebbero esistere dei Targaryen speciali che hanno un rapporto diretto con i Draghi. Credo che questo però sarà un mistero che scopriremo solo quando e se, avremo informazioni più dettagliate sul disastro di Valyria.

Tra l'altro io continuo a non capire la storia di Daella che non poteva entrare nel Credo perché non sapeva né leggere né scrivere quindi doveva sposarsi per forza. Quanto ci voleva a farle una maxi-raccomandazione visto che era la figlia del re?

Martin, interpellato in merito, ha detto chiaramente che ciò che è accaduto a Daenerys era un evento una tantum dovuto al rituale, e infatti nel quinto libro Dany si scotta mentre tenta di domare Drogon. Probabilmente Dany non ha esitato a entrare nella pira perché aveva avuto la premonizione, o comunque sapeva per istinto, che sarebbe stata protetta dal rituale.
Tornando in topic, Sapochnik ha spoilerato che HOTD dovrebbe durare tre stagioni:
Se così sarà, ritengo che la seconda stagione terminerà con la conquista di King's Landing e la terza sarà quella con la massiccia resa dei conti finale.

Se tagliano alcune battaglie potrebbero bastare anche tre stagioni per tutti gli eventi
Tre stagioni mi danno l' idea di un' eccessiva compressione, anche se ogni due anni vorrebbe dire Hotd finito tra 6 anni, il periodo sufficiente per preparare e lanciare altre serie in caso di successo. Se saranno tre stagioni, immagino che taglieranno alcuni pg e trame, tipo Daeron, che non mi pare compaia in questa prima stagione.
