Io invece penso che un sequel di GoT non avrebbe successo e non funzionerebbe, anche perché si tratterebbe di inventare una storia da zero senza il supporto cartaceo. Inoltre non capisco SPOILER GOT 8x06
come si potrebbe ripescare Daenerys, che mi sembra morta definitivamente.
Io penso che la HBO si limiterà ad House of the Dragon che comunque, se avrà successo, immagino verrà sviluppato in parecchie stagioni.

In ogni caso non mi auguro un sequel di GoT. Meglio progetti sui lavori collaterali di Martin, come appunto F&B e magari qualcosa sulle novelle di Dunk&Egg.

Far resuscitare Daenerys sarebbe un gioco da ragazzi. Ma anche a me un sequel sembra improbabile, anche perché immagino che dovrebbero avere l'autorizzazione di Martin che presumo non avranno mai.
Secondo me, un sequel di GOT è da escludere.
Non lo avrebbero fatto lo stesso, ma se anche ci fosse stata una vaga idea, sarebbe stata abortita dopo il finale, che ha creato nella maggior parte dei fan reazioni molto brutte, al limite del disgusto.
E conoscendo il modo di pensare dell'industria televisiva, già soltanto questo è un ottimo motivo per non rischiare un progetto molto dispendioso che partirebbe con parecchio pregiudizio negativo.
Io semmai più che un sequel preferirei un nuovo adattamento, magari in formato film e non seriale, una volta conclusa la saga cartacea ma prima deve essere conclusa e so che ad ora è un' utopia

La serie è durata una settantina di ore, ed il finale è stato anche affrettato.
Concentrare le vicende di ASOIAF in un film di due ore (o anche di 6 ore, creando qualcosa di simile a Il signore degli anelli) è impossibile senza riassumerle talmente tanto da snaturare la saga (e probabilmente scontentare tutti).

Su quello hai ragione ma mi riferivo più al fatto di andare a sceneggiare di nuovo la fase finale della serie, quella che si è distaccata parecchio dai libri, una volta che la saga cartacea sarà ultimata però so benissimo che sarà quasi impossibile.

Anche volendo fare un film soltanto sul finale Martiniano, ci sarebbe un altro problema: personaggi e storyline sconosciuti agli spettatori non lettori (che sono la stragrande maggioranza, e la principale fonte di entrate per eventuali produttori del film), oltre a personaggi conosciuti ben diversi da come sono stati tratteggiati nella serie.
Tutto questo ipotizzando per assurdo, visto che l'opera sarà incompiuta.

Casting davvero strano, ma ci sono tante cose che fatico a comprendere nello sviluppo dei "GoT prequels".
