Non stupisce, HBO e il mondo televisivo in generale puntano alla varianza razziale, anche quando c'è da forzare la cosa. Per il progetto precedente avevano castato tanti attori afroamericani. E' girata anche la voce che volessero rendere i Figli della foresta come colored.
Mi sembra che in qualche extra di uno dei DVD di got ci fosse un corto animato sulla danza dove sia corlys che i tre ragazzi "strong" presentavano tratti valiryani(platinati con occhi viola)
Il fatto che i Velaryon siano platinati nei libri è risaputo. Che lo siano anche i tre "Strong" negli extra, invece, è un errore palese, dato che sono castani nei libri. Ulteriore riprova che GOT è poco canon.

Personalmente se avessero optato per una scelta più "classica" ( cioè in linea con i tratti valyriani dei libri ) non mi sarebbe dispiaciuto, anche se comunque essendo sconosciuta la madre di Corlys magari possono dire che è una donna delle isole dell estate. Il problema è che a questo punto anche Addam dovrà essere di colore e a loro volta i figli di Rhaenyra ( e "Laenor" ) non dovranno essere bianchissimi ma una via di mezzo, con un tratto distintivo che possa ricondurli ad Harwin Strong.
L'unico modo per non rendere bianchi Jace, Luke e Joffrey è rendere anche Harwin una persona di colore.

c'erano tanti modi per puntare sulla varianza razziale, ma rendere corlys velaryon di colore non ha proprio senso...vuol dire fregarsene totalmente del materiale cartaceo.
