Riguardo la cosa di SW e MCU (il popolo includeva entrambi gli universi come paragone) la stessa HBO si è espressa in modo tranquillo.

Sicuramente il fatto di avere a disposizione un mondo così vasto e interessante è una grande risorsa per noi. Quindi non credo che questo universo narrativo ospiterà un solo show per il resto della sua vita.” - Casey Bloys per Variety.
A me sembra più una cosa messa su dalla gente che una loro precisa dichiarazione di intenti. Poi come dice è ovvio che hanno roba su cui lavorare e lo faranno, ma da quello che ho letto da varie parti mi sono fatta l'idea che abbiano i piedi ben piantati per terra riguardo quanto possono ancora tirare da questo universo.
Naturalmente per loro è tutta pubblicità è ovvio che cavalchino le aspettative dei fans orfani del lavoro compiuto di Martin finché possono.
E' sempre un dispiacere che quando tutti i lupi dovrebbero sollevarsi, un posto possa rimanere vuoto.

Non credo succederà mai. Rimarranno chiaramente incompiute, e non mi sembrano nemmeno così tanto appetibili per il pubblico televisivo.

La seconda novella in effetti può interessare più a un lettore che conosce abbastanza bene il mondo di Westeros e la sua storia, la prima e la terza invece potrebbero interessare anche al semplice spettatore ma non ci metterei la mano sul fuoco. Nelle novelle il contesto e le storie/personaggi coinvolti sono secondo me un po' differenti rispetto alle dinamiche della saga principale che invece sono abbastanza ricalcate dalla Danza dei draghi, progetto che spero realizzino al meglio.
so che è leggermente fuori tema e sicuramente sara un'opinione che non condivide nessuno, eppure rimango convinto che tra cinque o sei anni, dopo la serie sui targaryen, soprattutto se continuasse a non uscir fuori il finale cartaceo, richiameranno un po di attori, la maggior parte dei quali probabilmente rimasti ancorati a GOT, e riprenderanno ex novo con nuovi personaggi e ovviamente e una nuova storia...
far rispuntare fuori daenerys non sarebbe chissa quale problema, jon c'è, arya, sansa, bran, sam, brienne, davos e qualcun altro anche...
probabilmente l'attore che fa tyrion rifiuterebbe avendo una carriera diversa...
dovrebbero nuovamente scegliere dei buoni comprimari, o i "protagonisti sotto traccia", senza voler per forza ricreare i varys e i ditocorto delle prime stagioni, ma secondo me il filone principale di GOT non finira con la sesta puntata dell'ottava stagione...
ho sempre avuto questa sensazione, anche se ovviamente non nel breve periodo...
quando alle novelle, a me sembra difficile una serie incentrata su quelle...
