Secondo me nello show hanno trasferito il legame di amicizia (e qualcosa di più secondo alcuni... 
) tra Rhaenyra e Laena che si trova in F&B su Rhaenyra e Alicent, al posto di creare una dinamica matrigna-figliastra.

Sapevo del rinnovo. Parlavo del rischio iniziale di un flop o di un semi-flop.
A loro è bastata l'accoglienza del pilot per formalizzare il rinnovo (perchè probabilmente sono consapevoli che sono talmente alti da reggere anche ad un calo successivo), ma i numeri del secondo episodio confermano che sarà un successo o un semi-successo.

secondo me anche perchè avrebbe ricordato troppo la dinamica Cersei - Sansa. Così invece possono esplorare un tipo di rapporto (amiche/sorelle) un po' diverso.

D'altronde sono facilitati perché grazie a GoT hanno già potuto valutare cosa funziona e cosa no, dove aggiustare il tiro, come risolvere determinati problemi.
Oltretutto credo siano facilitati anche dal fatto che le storyline sono molte meno con molte meno ambientazioni.
Se ricordate uno dei problemi di GoT era dover inserire in praticamente ogni episodio elementi molto diversi e slegati tra loro (anche se inizialmente gli innesti erano bravini a farli) per permettere a tutte le varie storyline di procedere (es. pezzettino alla Barriera, pezzettino al Nord, pezzettino KL, pezzettino Dany etc etc con forte rischio spezzatino misto mare).
E' sempre un dispiacere che quando tutti i lupi dovrebbero sollevarsi, un posto possa rimanere vuoto.

La dinamica amiche/sorelle invece che matrigna/figliastra mi sembra un'ottima scelta, molto più interessante dal punto di vista della caratterizzazione dei personaggi. Rende più cocente il "tradimento" di Alicent ai danni di Rhaenyra (una vera amica, per quanto imbarazzata e in colpa, gliene avrebbe parlato prima dell'annuncio ufficiale) e da un sottofondo più incestuoso al rapporto tra Viserys e Alicent.
Per quanto riguarda la sigla invariata da GoT ho letto che secondo alcuni sarebbe una scelta sulla falsariga del main theme di Star Wars, così da legare tra di loro tutti i prossimi prodotti del GOTU che sta prendendo forma....

Io non posso proprio reggere Jon. Con GoT spero abbia dato fondo alla sua notevole scorta di depressione e lugubrità...
Così per curiosità, sono andata a vedere qual è l'ultima cosa che ha fatto Kit Harington: ha recitato l'Enrico V a Londra al Donmar Warehouse. Leggo che si tratta di un teatro no-profit da 250 posti. Sono così sicuri di voler fare una serie con lui protagonista?
Aldilà delle capacità recitative di Harington hanno già distrutto ed eviscerato il personaggio a sufficienza.. Un eventuale sequel sarebbe solo accanimento terapeutico e puro sadismo

Calma calma non c'è ancora nessuna conferma ufficiale. Oltretutto F&B in parte è scritto, ma il sequel di GoT no e sarebbe operazione molto diversa e più complessa da mettere in campo.
