Non credo che l'abbiano nemmeno mai visto. Milly Alcock ha 22 anni, Emily Carey 19, quando GoT è iniziato erano bambine, quando è finito teenagers: non è il tipo di prodotto che interessa a persone di quell'età. Mia figlia è più o meno loro coetanea e se ha una vaga idea di cosa sia GoT è solo perchè le ho fatto una testa tanta io

@Lyra Stark Non è tanto un problema di ignoranza, che riguarda il pubblico, è il risultato più ovvio della totale decontestualizzazione che ormai sta diventando la norma in molti film, serie, romanzi eccetera, e questo riguarda le produzioni. Nella clip si vede molto bene
che Viserys stesso sembra a disagio all'idea, quando storicamente non ci sarebbe stato niente di scandaloso, Enrico VII d'Inghilterra nacque quando sua madre aveva 14 anni - e suo padre era dieci anni più vecchio.
E' aberrante per noi, ma bisognerebbe accettare, più che sapere, che in altre epoche le cose funzionavano diversamente.
In un mondo simil medievale era una consuetudine, basterebbe come dice @Lyra Stark studiare con più attenzione... Purtroppo nei prodotti televisivi spesso vengono presi attori più grandi e non viene percepito (ad esempio, in Becoming Elizabeth lei sembra una ventenne, e dovrebbe avere 14 anni circa).
Basti pensare alla stessa saga principale i personaggi dei libri sono molto più piccoli di quello che sembra dalla serie

Capisco la difficoltà di metterlo in scena, nessuno vorrebbe vederlo ma nemmeno farlo e si aprirebbero problemi a non finire per attori e produzione.
Tuttavia basterebbe mediare: tenere presente che erano pratiche diffuse, anzi lo sono purtroppo anche oggi in vari luoghi del mondo, ma che nei film non si può mostrare tutto per filo e per segno da una parte. Dall'altra che la storia non è proprio come si vede nei film, cosa che tuttavia è sempre più difficile da far capire perché la società di oggi si basa principalmente sull'immagine e quindi c'è la tendenza dei giovani ad ancorarsi di più a quanto vedono piuttosto che a quanto studiano. Fermo restando che in USA si Menevyn sono abbastanza ignoranti specie in storia antica e medioevale.
E' sempre un dispiacere che quando tutti i lupi dovrebbero sollevarsi, un posto possa rimanere vuoto.

Le soluzioni sono due: o si evitano di portare sul piccolo o grande schermo scene del genere riscrivendo la storia secondo usi, costumi e consuetudini del XXI secolo(cosa che succede sempre più spesso) oppure si insegna ai giovani e non che il mondo in età antica o medioevale(direi anche fino al secondo dopoguerra) funzionava in modo molto diverso dal nostro
Soluzioni intermedie e compromessi secondo me sono più deleteri che altro..

Vorrei tanto fosse un fake, non mi piace per nulla. È una scopiazzatura in brutto di quella di GoT. Anzi, con tutto quel sangue fa anche un po' schifo

Hanno preso la stessa musica di GOT e come immagini...cosa rappresentano? L'albero genealogico dei Targaryen a partire dal disastro di Valyria?
La sigla di GOT aveva almeno il merito di chiarire a chi non conosceva la storia, il posizionamento geografico dei vari luoghi. Questa è praticamente impossibile da capire.
