Corlys potrebbe anche avere i capelli bianchi per l'età: Steve Toussaint ha 55 anni, che è l'età di Corlys nel 108. Noi sappiamo che la serie inizierà quando Daemon era ancora l'erede designato, tuttavia poi la narrazione si sposterà nel 130, quindi presumo che invecchieranno un pò gli attori col trucco.
Per quanto riguarda i flasback, a me piacerebbe molto vedere:
1) Aemon e Baelon sui rispettivi draghi, in modo da creare anche il parallelismo con la battaglia sull'Occhio degli dei (anche se Daemon e Laena funzionerebbero ancora meglio);
2) Baelon che vendica Aemon e dice poi alla madre: "Ne ho uccisi centinaia, ma non lo riporterà indietro";
3) Alysanne e Jahaerys che litigano per la successione al trono;
4) Il matrimonio tra Rhaenys e Corlys con lei che entra a dorso di Meleys;
5) Jaehaerys e Alicent;
ma mi pare che daemon non abbia mai avuto il titolo di "principe di roccia del drago", quindi daemon come erede designato è un'invenzione della serie

Non ha mai avuto quel titolo ma forse la serie fa riferimento al periodo in cui non era chiaro chi sarebbe stato l' erede di Viserys I ( al gran concilio del 101 Rhaenyra ancora era troppo piccola e se non ricordo male Daemon, dopo il tentativo fallito di avere un figlio maschio da Aemma Arryn, sperava che il fratello lo considerasse suo erede, ma in realtà Viserys nominerà come erede Rhaenyra; solo che se iniziano prima di quel momento Rhaenyra non può ancora risultare come erede di Viserys, anche se lo diventerà a breve ).
Daemon non è mai stato l'erede designato di Viserys I de iure (non fu mai Prince of Dragonstone), ma de facto egli si considerava tale in virtù dell'idea di Jaehaerys I che i maschi Targaryen debbano precedere sempre le femmine in linea di successione (cosa che ebbe il suo peso nella vittoria di Viserys al Gran Concilio del 101).
Dopo due anni di incertezza il re nominò Rhaenyra Princess of Dragonstone quando seppe che Daemon esultò per la morte di Aemma Arryn e Baelon "erede per un giorno".

Ifans come attore mi da l'idea di uno un po' viscido (passatemi il termine) un po' più simile a Ditocorto per intenderci, non che Otto Hightower non sia uno da sotterfugi ma avevo in mente un attore differente...
Sono comunque ottimista e non vedo l'ora di vedere qualche immagine dei personaggi nelle vesti di scena, anche se per queste bisognerà aspettare decisamente parecchio... Hanno detto che cominceranno le riprese ad aprile se non sbaglio, ma ci sono ancora un sacco di ruoli 'scoperti': Aegon II, Helaena, Daeron, Aemond, Laenor Velaryon ed i 3 figli... ci sono rumors a riguardo? Voi chi vorreste vedere nei vari ruoli?
Secondo Deadline, l'HBO avrebbe in cantiere altre tre serie spinoff: 9 Voyages, su Corlys Velaryon, Flea Bottom, sui bassifondi di King's Landing, e 10,000 Ships, sulla principessa Nymeria.
La serie su Corlys avrebbe già un gruppo di sviluppatori, fra cui Bruno Heller, mentre le altre due sarebbero delle "idee".

Credo proprio di sì. Anche perché secondo me non possono pensare di fare un qualcosa stile Star Wars o MCU, si tratta di storie/universi diversi e ciò che va bene in un caso non è detto che abbia successo nell' altro. Già è tanto se Hotd vedrà la luce dopo la fine di Bloodmoon.

Riguardo al cast completo non sorprenderti. Anche mentre stavano girando The Witcher sono uscite news sul casting a riprese già iniziate e ben avviate, praticamente anche quasi finite quindi non è così strano.
E' sempre un dispiacere che quando tutti i lupi dovrebbero sollevarsi, un posto possa rimanere vuoto.

Sarà indubbiamente una serie impostata diversamente da GOT, sia perché Ryan Condal è un fan di lunga data di ASOIAF, sia perché il materiale letterario di base è meno dettagliato e obbliga necessariamente a un lavoro di "estensione" della storia, piuttosto che una riduzione.
