Finora ha detto solo cose positive di HOTD, a parte la questione di B&C che si è riservato di affrontare in un secondo momento.
Secondo me è troppo poco, al momento, per pensare a uno screzio come quello con D&D. Eviterei di cercare cose tra le righe, dato che il post stesso di GRRM è orientato proprio a smentire interpretazioni di tal genere.

Secondo me la tua teoria non regge perché pochi giorni fa ha elogiato per l'ennesima volta Hotd (cosa che per Got non era accaduta post stagione 4 e anche nelle prime stagioni aveva rilasciato dichiarazioni/interviste in cui sottolineava maggiormente le divergenze con D&D). Su TWOW invece sono d'accordo e non capisco l'hype eccessivo degli ultimi tempi (nel 2022 i post sul blog erano decisamente più incoraggianti e soprattutto erano chiari, non Words of wisdom e cavolate simili).

Sì l'avevo capito, ma il punto è che in caso di grosse divergenze con Condal e gli altri non avrebbe mai scritto un post come quello di qualche giorno fa sui primi due episodi (quando Got andava in onda nelle ultime stagioni non l'ha mai fatto). È possibile sicuramente che non sia d'accordo con tutte le modifiche della serie, ma per arrivare a una rottura come quella con D&D mi sembra ancora poco (non capisco da cosa derivi questa tua sensazione). Inoltre è una fortuna che Martin non sia troppo impegnato con Hotd, considerando tutti gli altri impegni citati (secondo me è parecchio interessato a D&E). Ci manca solo un coinvolgimento pieno nelle serie TV, così addio TWOW.
Ah, su quello siamo assolutamente d'accordo. Che poi peraltro sta writer room mi sembra anche abbastanza in ritardo se iniziano a girare tra pochi mesi. Capace che le idee di base, su cui hanno coinvolto GRRM, siano già state gettate.
