Maelor non esiste ancora, Joffrey Velaryon è troppo piccolo, come Aegon e Viserys. Qualcosa nella trama cambierà per forza.

Credo che la timeline sarà sicuramente diversa rispetto ai libri. Altrimenti alla fine della serie avremo un Re di 6/7 anni.

Vero, il calo è notevole. Secondo me ha giocato tanto anche il gap di due anni. Troppo, troppo tempo, tra una stagione e l'altra.
Conosco personalmente almeno una decina di persone che non hanno ancora visto la prima puntata, e a cui è piaciuto sia GoT che la prima stagione. Semplicemente ancora non hanno avuto quella "spinta" a ripartire.
Molti, addirittura, stanno aspettando di finire di rivedere la prima stagione perchè non si ricordano le cose.
Curiosità dal dietro le quinte dell'ultimo episodio: un testo sulla storia Targaryen in cui si afferma che Daenys la Sognatrice è stata la prima cavalcatrice di Balerion.
Ben tre dei cinque padroni di Balerion facevano sogni di drago, secondo il canone televisivo. Per il canone dei libri, dobbiamo aspettare eventuali conferme da Martin.

Il video sopra è bellissimo. Oltre alle cose "scontate" da apprezzare come il set di KL, le fognature ed i passaggi segreti di Maegor, adoro come cerchino di invertire la tendenza (seppur in uno show con tonnellate di cgi e draghi) dipingendo il paesaggio che vediamo fuori dalla finestra del Concilio ristretto.
Se alcune delle scene alla finestra della prima stagione erano chiaramente finte, nella prima puntata non ho avuto questa impressione. Lunga vita agli effetti pratici!
Che lavoro per una scena ( quella di sangue e formaggio)senza effetti particolari !

Pare che il suo sesto senso glielo sconsiglierà...
Comunque finora hanno completamente ignorato il fatto che Helaena sia una dragonrider e Dreamfyre è stato mostrato solo una volta nella prima stagione. È un peccato perché in F&B tra gli esempi di legame drago/cavaliere particolarmente stretto vi sono proprio Helaena/Dreamfyre ed Aegon/Sunfyre (ma nel secondo caso credo proprio che svilupperanno la cosa per bene, mentre per Helaena non ne sono sicuro, dato che stanno puntando tutto sulle sue capacità profetiche).

Forse prenderà il posto di Lord Dustin.
Dovrebbero cambiare troppo. Il primo esercito guidato da un Dustin dovrebbe essere una sorta di esercito Kamikaze le cui imprese creeranno terrore nei confronti del secondo guidato da Stark e dieci volte più numeroso. Esercito che arriverà alla fine e che non combatterà mai.
