Forse lo scontro più interessante di tutti.
Per me non c'è storia: voto Varys, uno dei miei preferiti.

Anche qua, sono corruttibile, ma per motivi contrari: due personaggi opposti, che per motivi opposti apprezzo molto :D al momento non so chi scegliere, si vedrà

Varys è senz'altro il personaggio più misterioso delle Cronache... Ditocorto è il più intrigatore, ma i suoi intrighi sono stati svelati a noi lettori.

Perchè vuol fare tornare i Targaryen? Era veramente fedele a Aerys?
Perchè vuole rallentare il conflitto tra fazioni? Illyrio gli dice di accellerarlo... avrà seguito il consiglio del Magistro oppure no?
Ha veramente a cuore il bene del Reame? Lui, uno straniero odiato da tutti?
Perchè aiuta Ned e Tyrion?
Cosa intende Illyrio, parlando della morte di Jon Arryn, quando afferma che Varys "ha già partecipato a questa danza"?
Cosa vuole ottenere disseminando antiche monete di Alto Giardino sotto la branda di Rugen il carceriere (suo probabile travestimento)?
Di quali cose è a conoscenza? Magari ualcosa su Rhaegar, o sul destino dei suoi figli?
Il Mastino invece è una forza della natura... quando parla, quando combatte... il cuore batte più veloce.
Io credo che ci siano anche diversi indizi che lo indicano come Principe che fu promesso... "lacrime e fumo" gli si adatta molto bene

1. la faccia bruciata da bambino
2. la battaglia di approdo del Re... il corpo ustionato, il mantello bruciato... e Sansa che tocca le sue lacrime
3. lo scontro con Lord Beric... lo scudo in fiamme, il braccio bruciato... e il Mastino che piange ancora una volta
4. la rinascita nel monastero
Varys senza ombra di dubbio, Sandor non mi ispira particolare simpatia, mentre l'eunuco ha in mano la sorte di tutto westeros in pratica :D
Scelta difficile, ma voto Sandor 'Il Mastino' Clegane :D
