In primis perchè da autore deve pensare di meno alla serie e piu ai libri visto che la prima gli toglie inevitabilmente tempo
In secundis perchè avendo venduto i diritti della sua opera dovrebbe sapere perfettamente che gli autori decidevano tutto e lui non aveva voce in capitolo.

Una serie finita in modo deludente per la stragrande maggioranza perché da metá in poi mancava il materiale da seguire (ed è difficile pure pianificare il resto senza sapere dove si va a parare con un corpus così ricco di nomi personaggi e trame). E dei libri che ancora non so vedono.

La verità è che hanno perso tutti. Pubblico, lettori, autore, DeD attori e personaggi, pure tutto il comparto produttivo perché deve essere stato triste leggere petizioni che chiedevano di cancellare e rifare tutto il loro lavoro.

Il problema è che che quel con lui è relativo. Martin è sempre stato un consulente, pure quando scriveva le puntate c'erano numerosi rimaneggiamenti.

È vero, è necessaria una certa sospensione di pensiero, ma calandoci nel periodo e nel modo di pensare medievale è tutto sommato una costruzione di comodo che ci può stare, partendo dal fatto che tutti gli altri Baratheon esistenti in quel momento abbiamo determinate caratteristiche e che il libro rinvenuto da Ned e prima ancora da Jon descrivesse le stesse caratteristiche come ricorrenti.
Concordo con te sui lettori non della prima ora. Come dicevamo tempo fa, leggendo i libri niente toglie che questi possano comunque affascinare di più anche il lettore dell'ultimo momento. Una delle prime delusioni causate a posteriori dalla serie è anche il modo in cui è stata resa la storyline di Dany a Qarth (stagione 2). Si fosse trattato solo di semplificazione ok, ma in questo caso hanno proprio reso stupida e povera una storia che non lo era, minando possibilmente l'evoluzione della storia nella città schiaviste per aver eliminato tutta la questione economico-sociale dalla trama che a quel punto sono stati obbligati a chiudere in modo insoddisfacente nella 6.

Come se noi sapessimo come sarà invece chiusa... è chiaro che anche nei libri prima o poi Daenerys se ne dovrà andare e non mi pare stia facendo chissà che faville nella sua rivoluzione, con tutte le conseguenze del caso di quando i draghi (ovvero un potere forte) se ne andranno via. Non mi faccio molte illusioni che semmai anche nei libri la situazione si risolverà in modo insoddisfacente. Probabilmente a posteriori, considerando la parabola di Daenerys, ha persino un certo senso che la sua "rivoluzione" si traduca in un pastrocchio. Buone intenzioni non significa per forza successo e rivoluzionare un sistema consolidato da centinaia di anni è difficilissimo.
