Ribadisco ancora il mio parere favorevole al cast attuale... Matt Smith quando ha interpretato il Principe Filippo in The Crown ha ricevuto critiche positive in un ruolo non semplice... io personalmente l'ho trovato fantastico, e per Daemon Targaryen lo ritengo adatto: viso espressivo e particolare, talvolta misterioso, oscuro e anche crudele... Appoggio @MezzoUomo sul casting di Emilia Clarke, nessuno si sarebbe aspettato un'interpretazione simile... Per Rhaenyra quindi mi sento fiducioso... Ci sarà sempre modo di criticare qualsiasi scelta, sia di cast che successivamente di trasposizione della trama... Anche io sono un fan dei romanzi, ma penso che dopo la scottante figuraccia dell'ottava stagione, HBO sarà ben attenta a seguire più fedelmente una vicenda che ha un inizio ed una fine ben precisa... Il mio hype è alle stelle: la mattina quando mi sveglio la prima cosa che faccio è andare su Reddit e Twitter per vedere se ci sono nuove immagini o aggiornamenti...

Leggevo su Reddit un post in cui parlavano di Cregan Stark e si chiedevano che tipo fosse... Molti hanno dato un'immagine tra Ned Stark e Stannis Baratheon... io personalmente sto rileggende Fire & Blood e sono proprio al punto in cui ad Approdo del Re arriva Cregan con il suo esercito... ma di Ned Stark a parte lo smisurato senso di giustizia ha proprio poco... Cregan è molto più simile al padre ed al fratello maggiore di Eddard... molto più rude e spregiudicato rispetto ad un Ned forse un po' troppo 'buono'... cosa ne pensate?
Cregan è un personaggio controverso, non di rado ho letto analisi negative sul suo conto.
Fosse stato per lui la guerra sarebbe proseguita ad oltranza e sarebbero morti anche i figli dei leader Verdi (in questo era simile a Tywin), però ebbe il merito di ripulire la corte di King's Landing dagli uomini più infidi (uno su tutti Larys Strong).
Certo, resta il dubbio se avrebbe davvero portato a compimento le sue minacce belliche se avesse avuto libertà d'azione: la stessa Ora del Lupo fu una mezza farsa perché alla fine la maggior parte dei condannati sfuggì alla morte prendendo il nero.
Malgrado non fosse un raffinato politico, a differenza di Tyland Lannister, col senno di poi sarebbe stato meglio che fosse rimasto Hand of the King: si sarebbero evitati i problemi causati successivamente da Unwin Peake.

Bhe Haelena la davo per scontata, è la sorella/moglie di uno dei contendenti. Aemma Arryn invece non capisco a cosa serva se non ad eventuali flashback a meno che partano proprio dal concilio in cui Viserys diventa re e lei è ancora viva.
