Per la prima stagione i critici erano stati meno benevoli, evidentemente si stanno ricredendo.

Io credo che quel post fosse rivolto a Got, non ad Hotd (a dicembre Martin ha visitato il set e ha espresso un parere positivo già dopo i trailer). Non lo vedo come un silenzio stampa, anche perché con la prima stagione Martin aveva fatto la stessa cosa (aveva commentato la serie sul blog solo dopo l'uscita di alcuni episodi).
Sinceramente? 5 anni dopo mi pare strano ritorni sulla questione, su cui peraltro, brevemente, si era già espresso.
Edit Comunque chiarisco. Martin è liberissimo di starsene zitto, o di criticare in toni civili. Il post sugli adattamenti, se rivolto a HOTD, lo trovo un pochino poco professionale considerando la vagonata di soldi che prende dall'HBO.
Comunque sia, per tornare in tema: le recensioni paiono più positive che di quelle della prima stagione, il che mi fa ben sperare.

La parte in cui parla di sceneggiatori che vogliono modificare cose per rendere la storia scritta da altri la propria storia non si riferisce a Condal secondo me, ma a D&D (Martin aveva chiaramente detto che non era d'accordo con alcune scelte fatte già nelle prime stagioni, quando i libri non erano ancora finiti); comunque può darsi che si riferisca anche a serie TV molto discusse negli ultimi anni, come Rings of Power. L'ipotesi che fosse una critica a Condal e Hotd la trovo molto inverosimile.

Concordo credo che si riferisca a vari adattamenti fantasy o di fantascienza usciti negli ultimi anni ma non a HOTD di cui è produttore esecutivo e se non sbaglio partecipa alla stesura dei copioni(Rings of Power è un candidato certo). Aveva elogiato HOTD solo qualche mese prima sarebbe ipocrita e incoerente da parte sua cambiare versione dopo pochi mesi e sputare sul piatto dove mangia.
Ad esempio ha elogiato Shogun e il lavoro degli sceneggiatori nello stesso post prendendolo come riferimento e come benchmark di altissimo livello quando si parla di trasporre un romanzo sul piccolo schermo

Se è vera, per me anche questa cosa può funzionare. Le reali dinamiche di B&C sono uno dei grandi misteri della Danza. Non si è mai capitato dove si trovasse Aemond al momento del fattaccio, né quale fosse il vero obiettivo di Daemon e Mysaria. Può benissimo essere andata così anche nei libri.

Sbaglio o si era ipotizzato che una delle prostitute di Mysaria avesse il compito di distrarre Aemond mentre B&C svolgono la loro missione? Qualcosa non torna.
Forse Aemond si troverà in un altro bordello, quello della Madam del nono episodio.

Sbaglio o qui sulla Barriera siamo rimasti praticamente in 3 a commentare le notizie riguardanti HOTD? Mi sembra che dopo la prima stagione l'interesse sia notevolmente diminuito..
Per quanto mi riguarda, a me interessa moltissimo la seconda stagione e infatti non vedo l'ora di poterla vedere.
Ma, non avendo letto Fire & Blood e non conoscendo la trama, al momento non posso unirmi ai commenti (ma lo farà sicuramente una volta che la serie uscirà). L'interesse generale per la serie, comunque, a me non sembra affatto diminuito, seguo diversi siti che trattano di serie tv, pubblicando articoli e recensioni e a me sembra che per HOTD ci sia molto hype :)

Considerando il colore dei capelli dei figli di Alicent, nessuno sul web dovrebbe avere il coraggio di ipotizzare che uno di loro sia figlio di Criston Cole o forse sì??
