Ah, ma non è una novità. Grosso modo questo andazzo va avanti dal 2016, ossia da quando per l'ennesima volta contraddisse delle sue previsioni sulla conclusione di TWOW troppo ottimiste.
Ne riparlerà prima dell'uscita della seconda stagione di HOTD (magari dicendo che sta al 90% e che non manca molto)

In effetti l'anno scorso debuttava la serie ed era più generoso negli aggiornamenti. Quest'anno c'è la pausa e casualmente è molto più "silenzioso". A pensare male ci si azzecca a volte ....
sperando che dedichi almeno un'ora al giorno a scrivere (sembra poco ma non lo è affatto) ma non ci conto troppo.

ogni volta che parla o scrive qualcosa a riguardo ormai è una presa in giro, come il promettere di non dedicarsi a progetti diversi da TWOW...
"in effetti è meglio che non parli", per citare un'opera che qualcuno cita spesso...
peraltro avevo la certezza che almeno il finale fosse pronto, secondo me molto di quel(poco)che ha fatto negli ultimi anni è stato smontarlo per rendere il finale di GOT abbastanza piu diverso dal suo anche nel "semplice" elenco di pesonaggi sopravvissuti e del ruolo che avranno...

12 anni sono tanti, 15-20 sarebbero troppi da sostenere, è lecito smettere di seguire una serie quando l'autore prende in giro i suoi fan, progetti cinematografici gli servono per pubblicizzare i suoi libri precedenti, è difficile seguire una serie incompleta partendo da zero
mah secondo me fa parte di tutta una strategia di GRRM per prenderci tutti per i fondelli, in modo da creare un momento catartico quando finalmente I venti dell'Inverno avrà una data di uscita.
Ho scritto per l'ultima volta in questo topic il 31 agosto 2021. Constato che da allora la situazione non è mutata.

in pratica matematicamente passerà più tempo tra ADWD e TWOW di quanto ne sia passato tra ACOK e ADWD, è assurdo.
12 anni già sono tanti, ma 15 - 20 sarebbero troppi, non è possibile aspettare 15 anni per l'uscita del prossimo libro (se esce)
Vuole imitare Berserk, ma Berserk è su un altro livello rispetto ad Asoiaf, dovrebbe farsi un bagno di umiltà, il successo delle serie gli è andato alla testa

Questo è il dato più preoccupante, Martin ha normalizzato le attese di 5/6 anni
Sono forse gli sceneggiatori più famosi nella storia delle serie tv, non è poco.
