Per quanto riguarda AKOTSK, il duo ritiene che la serie potrebbe essere messa in onda a cadenza annuale, non biennale come HOTD. Inoltre, al fine di avere una trama completa per l'intera serie, il loro consiglio a GRRM è di consegnare a HBO un riassunto di tutti i progetti dei nuovi racconti di Dunk & Egg, anziché impegnarsi a scriverli uno per uno in un futuro imprecisato.
Spero che Martin non segua il consiglio di Elio, dato che ASOIAF resterà incompleta molto probabilmente (ok TWOW, ma ADOS?). Qualora dovesse scegliere questa opzione, vorrei che scrivesse almeno la novella conclusiva su Sala dell'Estate (non penso che le informazioni di F&B o qualche riferimento nella saga principale sarebbero sufficienti a svelare tutti i misteri).
