Senza considerare che negli ultimi 15 anni sono usciti sequel, prequel e reboot di diversi franchise e IP molto amati dal pubblico che si sono rivelati nel migliore dei casi mediocri.
Oppure alla sfilza di prodotti seriali fantasy usciti dopo GOT che hanno deluso da Shannara a ROP da Wheel of Time a The Witcher oltre a HOTD

Non so cosa pensare. Le uniche spiegazioni che mi vengono in mente sono: o hanno rimandato HOTD S03 al 2027, oppure esce TWOW e quindi non vogliono togliere attenzione/sperano che George possa scrivere un'altra novella di Dunk&Egg.
La seconda ipotesi mi sembra ovviamente quasi impossibile
Casey Bloys ha parlato di "inverno" 2026, quindi presumo che AKOTSK uscirà tra gennaio e marzo.
HOTD, invece, potrebbe andare in onda verso l'estate dello stesso anno.
Penso che abbiano deciso di dare spazio al lancio di nuovi prodotti nell'autunno 2025, per poi dedicare il 2026 al GOT Universe.

Boh. Può darsi, però insomma. L'universo di GoT doveva essere l'elemento di punta, non qualcosa da rimandare per fare spazio ad altro. Che altre grandi serie dovrebbero uscire in autunno?

Si ipotizzano una serie di motivazioni strategiche per il rinvio al 2026, tra cui dare ad AKOTSK il posto di serie comedy di punta nel 2026 (The White Lotus lo è quest'anno), e il rilancio di Max, che tornerà a chiamarsi HBO Max.
