Il resto è roba marginale nella macro trama. Chi si sposerà Sansa o chi sarà il penultimo a posare il sedere sul trono inficia poco alla fine.
E visto che neanche Martin palesemente lo sa, è inutile stare a dire che X è importante perché fa cose se poi ste cose non le vediamo

Di nuovo, parli come sapessi come si evolverà la storia. Visto che nessuno lo sapeva o lo sa, come fai a dire che Cersei sia un'alternativa peggiore?
Da un certo punto in poi GOT è una serie mediocre, narrativamente parlando, a prescindere dall'aver letto o meno i libri. I lettori sono di solito più severi nel giudizio, ma anche molti non lettori sono rimasti delusi.

Il race swap di Bennis ha messo d'accordo tutti, a giudicare dai commenti che ho letto finora: a destra lo criticano parlando come al solito di "quota woke", a sinistra lo criticano parlando di scelta razzista, essendo uno dei personaggi più disprezzabili delle storie di Dunk ed Egg.
Premesso che, piaccia o non piaccia, nelle produzioni angloamericane il principio dell'inclusività è ineludibile, credo che la scelta di un interprete nero per Bennis sia motivata dal fatto che Dunk lo ha conosciuto nella novella mentre entrambi erano al servizio di un mercante dorniano.
