Più che altro è l'unica su cui abbiamo tante informazioni per quasi tutta la loro permanenza sul continente, mentre sugli altri sono più che altro informazioni su personaggi sporadici

Beh se martin dopo Fuoco e Sangue scrivesse "The Winter is Coming" sulla storia di casa Stark (almeno dalla conquista di Aegon in poi, coprire tutti quei millenni sarebbe folle, penso ci sarà un solo capitolo nel caso, come per i targaryen prima della conquista) io sarei molto contento. Mentre un "Nostra è la Furia" sui Durrandon/Baratheon e un "Ascolta il mio ruggito" sui Lannister li vedo meno probabili.

Di questo passo vedo poco probabile un po' tutto ...
Comunque anche secondo me un libro sul modello di F&B per altre grandi casate sarebbe interessante.

Si, lo so.
E' "ovvio" che dal loro punto di vista abbia senso lavorare su storie di cui hanno informazioni corpose.
Non fraintendetemi, a me piacciono i Targaryen, ed alcuni eventi sono effettivamente tra i più interessanti della storia di Westeros (la Danza, le ribellioni Blackfire ad esempio).
Tuttavia io amo le Cronache e tutto quello che ci gira intorno per il Nord, gli Estranei, gli Stark, i Guardiani della Notte, gli Antichi Dei etc.
a me la cosa che turba un po' è che in trecento anni di governo Targaryen sono successe a Westeros più cose che nei precedenti due o tremila.
Credo sia una percezione sbagliata, dovuta sia al fatto che il governo Targaryen è il periodo di cui conosciamo più cose e sia al fatto che, essendo stato il continente diviso, gli eventi precedenti ad Aegon hanno avuto perlopiù una portata regionale.
