Il problema è che l'altra famiglia ASOIAF che pure potrebbe attrarre spettatori è quella Stark, ma qui entrano in gioco alcuni misteri legati alla trama generale e accennati in TWOIAF che non possono essere spoilerati su schermo, anche se questa frase per certi aspetti fa abbastanza ridere alla luce del finale di GoT.
Ragazzi è molto semplice: per quanto personalmente mi diano l'orticaria e li trovi anche abbastanza noiosi i Targaryen hanno i draghi = spettacolarità quindi su schermo si pappano tutti gli altri.
E' sempre un dispiacere che quando tutti i lupi dovrebbero sollevarsi, un posto possa rimanere vuoto.

Io credo che non è che prima non ci fossero eventi salienti, ma come nella storia, non siano stati trascritti o come dice @Jacaerys Velaryon abbiano comunque avuto una portata regionale o poco consistente...

e spero retconnino l'assenza di Jaehaerys II dal canon della serie, francamente.
Per il momento il prequel sulla Conquista è ancora in fase di discussione, è prematuro ipotizzarne l'uscita.

Comunque anche se non fa parte propriamente del Game of Thrones universe e non è legato all'HBO segnalo anche lo spettacolo a Broadway sul Torneo di Harrenhal a cui sta lavorando anche Giorgino stesso. Quindi avremo il torneo a teatro e poi lo show su Dunk&Egg che arriverà (si spera) almeno fino alla tragedia di Summerhall!

Prima di parlare se arriverà fino alla fine della vita di Duncan e Aegon aspetterei a vedere in primo luogo come sarà recepita la trasposizione de Il cavaliere errante e se Martin scriverà le novelle successive...
