Si tratterebbe di un'ammissione di colpa senza precedenti da parte di HBO e una totale delegittimazione e revisione storica del lavoro svolto da Benioff and Weiss. Senza contare che bisognerebbe a priori chiarire il ruolo di GRRM in questo presunto sequel. Altrimenti Snow verrebbe subito etichettato come fanfiction della fanfiction e e almeno per quello che mi riguarda da lettore dei libri alzerei subito le barricate(e come me tanti)

La prima stagione di HOTD è andata bene sia come ascolti che come giudizi. Nonostante sia stata un lungo prologo e nonostante i salti temporali e i cambi di attori.
Non c'è motivo per credere che una seconda stagione, senza salti temporali e con più action, più casate e più draghi, possa far perdere pubblico.

Alcuni dicevano che dedicare tutta la prima stagione al regno di Viserys sarebbe stato noioso per lo spettatore medio ma anche a me pare che non sia andata affatto male.
È andata molto bene. Ma resto curioso di vedere come gestiranno la seconda, per altro senza Sapochnik.

Su HOTD sono abbastanza fiducioso. Anche se non ho condiviso tutte le interpretazioni personali di F&B da parte di Condal o le caratterizzazioni di alcuni personaggi chiave(su tutti Daemon e Alicent)o l'interesse a tratti morboso sulle varie patologie di Viserys ma rimango relativamente positivo e ottimista.
Su Snow la mia posizione è un misto di scetticismo e fastidio. Per i motivi che ho elencato sopra.
Prima di tutto bisognerebbe chiarire la posizione di questo sequel all'interno del canone Martiano e il ruolo di Martin nella scrittura della serie tv. Altrimenti si rischierebbe una fanfiction della fanfiction e un tentativo tardivo e fuori tempo massivo da parte di HBO di strizzare l'occhio ai fan rimasti delusi dal finale di GOT.

Per molti fan questa è un'ottima notizia, dato che Sapochnik ha ricevuto numerose critiche, in particolare dal punto di vista registico (l'apice è stato nella settima puntata).
