Da come ne parlava non mi dava l' impressione di averlo letto. In un altro video parlava dello spinoff come se Hbo volesse adattare tutto il libro, partendo dalla Conquista, quando in realtà si sa da più di un anno che la serie sarà dedicata alla Danza.
Intanto, pare che Aemond sarà interpretato dall'attore Ewan Mitchell, mentre Aegon II potrebbe essere Tom Glynn-Carney.

Inizialmente (e parlo dei tempi di GOT) Caleel mi piaceva molto e le sue analisi erano spesso condivisibili... Sono d'accordo sul fatto che non sia molto 'sul pezzo' per quel che concerne House of the Dragon e che sia un pizzico prevenuto su questa serie per via della delusione (condivisibile) delle ultime due stagione di GOT... Detto questo l'attore che interpreterà Aemond non mi dispiace, unico neo, a mio parere non dovrebbe avere il paraocchio dato che mi pare che Aemond nel libro avesse una pietra nel buco, ma magari ricordo male... Anche l'attore che dovrebbe interpretare Aegon II mi soddisfa... Ho sempre difeso i 'parrucconi' ma ammetto che potrebbero almeno variare le acconciature... Nelle prime foto di Aemond l'acconciatura è identica a quella di Daemon Targaryen... Re Viserys da quel piccolo spezzone di trailer dove impugna la spada seduto sul trono pare avere i capelli lunghi alle spalle, mentre nel libro li ha corti... Corti come li dovrebbe avere anche Aegon II che porta inoltre dei piccoli baffetti... Vedremo come verrà replicato sullo schermo...

Concordo sulla ripetitivita' dei parrucconi/acconciature. Qualche Targaryen con capelli corti non guasterebbe.
Ho letto i due racconti lunghi (The princess and the queen e The rogue prince) ma non Fire&Blood: ci sono differenze/aggiunte in quest'ultimo riguardo la danza dei draghi?
Le versioni scritte in F&B, Heirs of the Dragon e The Dying of the Dragons, sono espanse, anche se non ho presente nello specifico le differenze.

Io avevo letto solo La principessa e la regina prima di F&B e sinceramente mi sembrava che il grado di dettaglio fosse simile. L' unica differenza sostanziale credo sia la conclusione: la Principessa e la Regina non copre anche tutta la parte dell' ora del lupo e il seguito. Anche la parte della morte di Aegon II mi pare che sia narrata più nel dettaglio in F&B. Anche se è da parecchio che non lo rileggo, non mi pare che ci siano grandi cambiamenti/aggiunte di trama.
Ottime (IMHO) le scelte per Aemond e Aegon II (che poi sarebbero Osferth di Last Kingdom e Ottaviano in Domina)
Personalmente, nonostante la serie principale mi abbia deluso dalla quinta stagione in avanti (tolta forse in parte la sesta), devo ammettere di essere abbastanza in hype per questo prequel, e l'hype deriva proprio dal cast, che mi sembra di ottimo livello
Difendere il re. Obbedire al re. Mantenere i suoi segreti. Fare quello che lui ti dice. La tua vita per la sua. E poi obbedire a tuo padre. Amare tua sorella. Proteggere gli innocenti. Difendere i deboli. Rispettare gli dei. Obbedire alle leggi. Troppo, decisamente troppo. Qualsiasi cosa tu faccia, finirai comunque per infrangere un giuramento o un altro
A quanto pare Matt Smith ha confermato una voce che girava da mesi, ovvero che le riprese di HOTD finiranno a gennaio.
Di conseguenza, la serie potrebbe andare in onda nella seconda metà del 2022, forse nello stesso periodo di quella su The Lord of the Rings:
