In Game of Thrones li tagliavano, in House of the Dragon li aggiungono. Mi sembra naturale, considerando che in A Song of Ice and Fire i personaggi sono centinaia mentre in Fire & Blood sono qualche decina (e solo una parte nella Danza dei Draghi).
In GOT il problema era gestire l'enorme mole di ASOIAF, in HOTD è quello di approfondire meglio il testo cronachistico di F&B. I Bracken citati per nome nei regni di Viserys ed Aegon sono un paio (più un bastardo), ma sono menzionati anche altri senza nome di cui non si sa nulla.

O meglio in GoT ne tagliavano alcuni ma poi ne aggiungevano altri, comunque penso che con una decina una serie riesci a portarla avanti. L'idea non vorrei fosse quella di allungare il brodo il più possibile. Altrimenti diventa acqua e non sa di niente

Ci sono tanti personaggi di ASOIAF che in GOT non sono stati proprio messi, o hanno ruoli ridotti.
Se in HOTD vogliono dare maggior peso a casate "storiche" come Stark e Lannister devono rendere più corposi certi fronti di guerra: per gli Stark significa ampliare la storyline nelle Terre dei Fiumi.

Difficile allungare il brodo con Bracken e Mallister, a meno che non introducano cose eccezionali. Probabilmente vogliono dare un nome e un cognome ai membri di quelle casate che vedremo poi combattere fra di loro parteggiando per neri o verdi e vogliono mostrare questi personaggi già nella prima stagione di build up, prima che si scateni il pandemonio. Ancora non abbiamo visto niente ma come idea di base preferisco un' aggiunta così rispetto a una Talisa qualunque ( anche perché invece per quanto riguarda i pg canonici mi sembra che non ci siano stati ancora tagli confermati ).
Ah be su quello sfondi una porta aperta ma è confermato che faranno più stagioni? Io avrei preferito una, magari con più episodi, e fatta bene.

Era proprio quello a cui stavo pensando. Praticamente nelle ultime stagioni Westeros ha solo 4 casate ( Stark, Lannister, Targaryen e Greyjoy ) più qualche comparsata di Martell, Arryn e Tyrell. Se non sbaglio lord Manderly compare solo nella stagione 6 quando in realtà è uno degli alfieri più importanti degli Stark. Se con queste aggiunte passa il messaggio che in realtà il contesto geopolitico era molto più complesso di "Grande Inverno e Approdo del Re" stop, sarebbe una cosa positiva secondo me.
Ultimamente c'è stata un bel po' di attività in Cornovaglia. Sembra che stiano girando una battaglia, a sensazione direi uno scontro nelle Stepstones che coinvolgerà la Triarchia:

È uscita la prima foto di Rhaenys Targaryen-Velaryon, in compagnia di due ragazzi che potrebbero essere due dei figli di Rhaenyra e Laenor (in realtà Harwin).
Sta suscitando polemiche il fatto che Rhaenys abbia i capelli chiari, anziché neri come in F&B.

Mi ispira questo respiro internazionale delle vicende westerosiane . Sui capelli di raenys non vedo cosa ci sia da discutere, visto che Martin stesso ha cambiato idea più volte e comunque siamo in una serie dove i Velaryon si è deciso fossero neri ma coi capelli valiryani
