Io continuo a ritenere probabile l'uscita nel 2020. Quindi chi lo sa, magari questa volta ci siamo... Ammetto che comunque non aspetto più trepidante TWOW, tra la serie TV e altri interessi Martin non è più in cima ai miei pensieri. In più se la traduzione in italiano non esce in contemporanea a quella inglese dovrò aspettare ancora per leggere il volume... Quindi è meglio che mi abitui ad aspettare ancora 
Martin ha detto fino allo sfinimento che non avrebbe messo nessun indizio, nessun segreto riferimento collegato a TWOW, ma soltanto un post sul suo blog.

Insomma, un conto è il post criptico su Oz che può anche non essere un riferimento segreto a TWOW, un altro sono l'aggiornamento del dominio web thewindsofwinter.com e della sezione "Next to Publication" sul sito ufficiale, che quantomeno risultano elementi sospetti.
Comunque, io aspetto GRRM al varco di Giugno 2020.

Considerando come questa discussione è stata trascurata in questo periodo importante dell'anno direi che il grosso di noi barrieristi si è finalmente disintossicato da twow e si è convertito davvero a "se uscirà a breve bene, altrimenti siamo abituati"

Personalmente ho la piena fiducia in Martin. Tuttavia la mia non é un'attesa ansiosa, nel senso che sono pienamemte cosciente che TWOW uscirá quando "gli chiura a iddru", ovvero quando vorrà lui.
Il che é anche una garanzia della qualità di TWOW: uno scrittore autenticamente commerciale non si permetterebbe mai di fare attendere così i propri editori.
"Gli dei esistono" ripetè a se stessa. "E anche i veri cavalieri. Tutto questo non può essere una menzogna".

Semplicemente siamo collettivamente afflitti dall'inevitabile apatia generata dalla mancanza di professionalità e puntualità dell'autore stesso; dopo aver riposto tante aspettative ed essere stati così afflitti dal tema, ritrovarsi in uno stato di totale inerzia dopo che tale processo si è esaurito è inevitabile. Più che un meccanismo di difesa è da eleggere ad unico comportamento consequenziale e naturale. Ma ovviamente tutto ciò verrà sovvertito e invalidato nel momento in cui The Winds Of Winter farà la sua ufficiale comparsa, e ogni cosa verrà meno.
