Dovrebbe essere "Ai confini del mare",senza "sfida",credo.
No. Ai confini del mare è solo 10° libro della saga.
Non fatevi fuorviare dal film: è un miscuglio di pù libri che trascura completamente i primi...
Ci rinuncio. Però Wikipedia dice a riguardo del libro "Ai confini del mare" che:
"Da questo romanzo è stato tratto il film Master and Commander - Sfida ai confini del mare, con Russel Crowe. In effetti la sceneggiatura del film è un sunto di episodi tratti dai vari romanzi della serie, innestati sulla base della storia di questo romanzo in particolare".
Quindi l'indizio ha un po' confuso

Io a questo punto darei il punto a sharingan... su wiki ho trovato il titolo corretto del primo libro della saga, ma mi pare scorretto dirlo...
In effetti lo sarebbe...Io lavoro in libreria e confesso che,dopo aver visto che avevo sbagliato,ho dato un'occhiata ai vari libri di O'Bryan,ma su nessuno di essi c'è scritto "ha ispirato il film Master&Commander"...neanche il retro,dove erano scritte le trame,riportava utili informazioni...

Però non ho veramente indovinato il titolo. IMO non mi sembra giusto che io abbia il punto. Al massimo posso fare comunque la prossima citazione ma senza che mi venga assegnato il punto.

Allora....rimettiamo un pelo d'ordine: il gioco è "indovina il libro", e la frase postata si trova nella prima pagine del libro di Patric O'Brien Master and Commander che in italiano è stato tradotto con Primo Comando: in esso Jack Aubrey è un tenente appena promosso, ed il primo incontro con Maturin avviene durante un concerto Il titolo del ibro è poi stato trasposto nel film, derivato da due libri successivi: The Far Side of the World, tradotto appunto con Ai confini del mare (dove però la nave a cui si dà la caccia è la fregata americana Norfolk, e The letter of Marque, tradotto con La Nave Corsara, dove il nome della nave franco-americana è Spartan, e non Acheron.
Non si stava cercando di indovinare il film...quel gioco si trova altrove - è però anche vero che Sharingan aveva capito di quel che stavo parlando...
Mi rimetto alla decisione del pubblico. Se volete posto una nuova citazione, e no palla a lui.
Il libro è il primo della saga, e lo avevi detto tu dall'inizio, una volta detto il nome della saga, il libro è individuato in maniera univoca, anche in assenza del nome del libro.
