Il film è una parodia a sfondo satirico del cinema muto. Gli indizi precedenti erano una descrizione della scena forse più famosa: il mimo francese Marcel Marceau che paradossalmente pronuncia l'unica battuta della pellicola, un secco "Non!" Peccato che il protagonista, Mel Funn alias Brooks, affermi (in didascalia) di non capire il francese...

Questo film svela un curioso retroscena sulla vita di Gandhi.

No. Forse l'indizio è eccessivamente fuorviante, visto il film, quindi dico subito che è una commedia, direi abbastanza nota.
Altro indizio. Le vicende si svolgono in un'arco di tempo abbastanza breve, come suggerisce il titolo.

No, ma i protagonisti di entrambi i film sono insoddisfatti del loro lavoro.
Altro indizio. Il film ha avuto un seguito che riprende il titolo del primo film e che ha per protagonista uno dei personaggi del primo film, dove ricopriva il ruolo di rivale del protagonista.
Tutti questi indizi e non mi viene in mente niente
