Dopo un calciomercato avaro di emozioni (la squadra vincente della scorsa stagione è stata pressoché confermata, con gli unici innesti di rilievo di Taremi e Zielinski), la nuova annata dell'Inter è cominciata in chiaroscuro: due vittorie (spicca il 4-0 inflitto all'Atalanta), due pareggi e una dolorosa sconfita nel derby di Milano (termina così la striscia record di sei successi di fila contro il MIlan); nel mezzo, un ottimo pareggio in casa del Manchester City nella nuova Champions League a girone unico.
La sensazione iniziale è che rivincere il campionato non sarà impresa agevole e che stavolta la società abbia scelto la coppa europea come obiettivo primario, o quanto meno si dovrà ottenere la qualificazione diretta alla fase successiva del torneo (entrando nei primi otto piazzamenti) evitando inghippi come quello dell'anno scorso (il primo posto nel gironcino perso contro la Real Sociedad).

Per ora è l'Inter del 2022 : capace di grandi cose ma che si fa sfuggire troppe volte le vittorie decisive. Potrebbe essere davvero l'anno di Conte. Fortuna che siamo solo a ottobre.
A livello statistico questo inizio di campionato è praticamente identico alla seconda stagione di Conte, la 2020-21. Quel campionato fu raddrizzato nel girone di ritorno e portò al 19esimo scudetto. L'auspicio è che Inzaghi aggiusti la rotta come fece Conte, altrimenti sarà un torneo più simile al 2022-23, quando tutti furono spettatori della marcia trionfale del Napoli. Napoli che adesso, ironia della sorte, è guidato proprio da Conte.

Pensavo all'Inter del 21/22 perché quest' anno sa tanto di Inter che starà incollata alla prima posizione fino alla fine, salvo perdere quelle 2-3 partite decisive che segnano la differenza con il primo posto. Vediamo se con il napoli riesce a non vincere come con Milan e juve

In effetti la tua previsione è, per il momento, appropriata. L'Inter delle ultime partite sembra, come "spirito", quella del 21-22, capace di fare trenta ma non trentuno. Il pareggio contro il Napoli condito da un rigore sbagliato ricorda in parte la sfida d'andata contro il Milan in quella stagione.
La situazione di classifica è comunque in piena evoluzione: ci sono tante squadre concentrate in pochi punti. Fino a quando non ci sarà una scrematura in testa alla graduatoria, basterà un nonnulla per passare dall'esaltazione alla depressione. È ancora troppo presto per certificare la traiettoria che prenderà il campionato nerazzurro.
Intanto la Champions procede bene, con 10 punti su 12 conquistati. Già così siamo quasi certi di accedere alla fase degli spareggi, e potrebbero bastare altri 6 punti per balzare direttamente agli ottavi di finale.

Il fatto di tenere inviolata la porta in Champions sembra fare pendere la bilancia verso l'idea di un focus ben sbilanciato verso le coppe
Il 10 dicembre arriva la prima rete subita e la prima sconfitta in Champions, sul campo del Bayer Leverkusen. Sconfitta beffarda (al 90') ma meritata, dato che abbiamo giocato accontentandoci del pareggio in trasferta, e questo è un rischio che a volte si paga. Anche con l'Arsenal i nerazzurri avevano scelto un approccio più conservativo, ma in quel caso avevano strappato una vittoria per 1-0, e con Young Boys e Lipsia il risultato è stato lo stesso.
Nel complesso, la tendenza di inizio stagione di un'Inter più concentrata e convincente in coppa rispetto al campionato sembra essersi invertita mano a mano che l'accesso diretto agli ottavi di Champions è diventato sempre più vicino. Infatti, il passo falso in Germania sarà probabilmente ininfluente: l'Inter è a quota 13 punti nel girone unico, per cui è prossima a entrare nel gruppo delle prime otto classificate. Considerato che in Champions stiamo regolarmente giocando con le seconde linee, sarebbe ancora di più un grande risultato.
Intanto, l'attuale graduatoria di Serie A suggerisce una possibile sfida a tre per lo scudetto con protagoniste Atalanta (ora in testa alla graduatoria), Napoli e Inter (con una partita in meno). Lazio e Fiorentina sono le sorprese in positivo, Roma, Milan e Juventus le delusioni. La prossima sfida dell'Inter sarà impegnativa, in casa della Lazio.

Il 2025 si apre con una sconfitta atroce nella finale di Supercoppa contro il Milan rivitalizzato da Conceicao. Ci sta perdere il trofeo dopo tre vittorie consecutive, ma non subendo tre reti dopo essere stati avanti per 2-0. È vero che il primo gol era viziato in partenza da un fallo su Asllani e che sono mancati giocatori come Thuram, Pavard e Calhanoglu, ma è una giustificazione parziale. Fra l'altro, l'Inter continua a prendere spesso gol nei minuti finali.
Sfumata la Supercoppa, l'Inter rimane in corsa in quattro competizioni, ma appare nel complesso meno convincente della passata stagione: per ora lo spettro degli zero titoli si aggira nei campi di Appiano Gentile...

Troppe partite per la qualità della rosa. Se il napoli vince anche con la Juve ha il 60% dello scudetto in mano. 0 titoli è assolutamente realistico come scenario
La prima fase della Coppa dei Campioni si conclude nel migliore dei modi, con due vittorie contro Sparta Praga e Monaco che valgono il quarto posto a 19 punti e accesso diretto agli ottavi di finali. Si profila agli ottavi un derby italiano contro il Milan o la Juventus, oppure un'avversaria olandese come PSV o Feyenoord.
Intanto, in campionato continua l'inseguimento al Napoli primo in classifica: il prossimo ostacolo è il già citato Milan, che nella stagione in corso ci ha regalato solo dolori. È arrivato il momento della rivalsa?

No, solo un pareggio nel derby di ritorno. In compenso, ne giocheremo altri due ad aprile, validi per la semifinale di Coppa Italia. Il trofeo nazionale è un obiettivo abbordabile, vista anche l'ignominiosa uscita di scena della Juventus, ma necessita che la squadra reimpari a vincere i big match.
Il mese di febbraio è stato molto strano: nonostante le sconfitte con Fiorentina e Juventus, siamo tornati in testa al campionato grazie agli inaspettati passi falsi di Napoli e Atalanta. Inoltre, ieri siamo usciti indenni dallo scontro diretto col Napoli, a dispetto di una caterva di infortuni, arrivando persino a un passo da una vittoria che sarebbe valsa un importante +4 in graduatoria.
La mia impressione è che l'Inter stia confermando di essere la squadra più forte in Italia, ma che sia in una fase di crisi psicofisica. Se i nerazzurri non ritroveranno la forma ottimale vista alla fine del 2024, il più riposato Napoli approfitterà della dispersione delle forze nerazzurre in Champions League e Coppa Italia ed effettuerà il controsorpasso decisivo tra marzo e aprile.
