Per farla breve: estate di grandi addii — e già questo teoricamente ci porrebbe un gradino sotto le altre almeno in ottica campionato, se non fosse che l'Inter ha già perso gli ultimi due Scudetti quando sulla carta partiva da corsie nettamente migliori, quindi chissà, magari stavolta funziona al contrario — e di alcuni vecchi ritorni: Onana e Handa, Skriniar e D'ambro, Gaglia e Brozo, Dzeko e Lukaku. Praticamente tutti titolari se non l'anno scorso, di sicuro non più tardi di 12 mesi fa. Sommer, Bisseck, Thuram, gli arrivi più importanti, conditi dal ritorno di Arnautovic e dall'approdo di Cuadrado. Avrei fatto volentieri a meno di entrambi? Avrei fatto volentieri a meno di entrambi.
Buona la prima per fortuna, con doppietta di Lautaro (mi auguro che questo possa essere l'anno di un suo ulteriore, definitivo, salto di livello) e fortuna che le prime giornate non sono troppo impegnative: salvo per Fiorentina e Milan alla terza e quarta, tutte le altre partite fino a fine Ottobre saranno contro squadre nettamente inferiori.
Per un nuovo, definitivo, giudizio iniziale aspetto dunque la chiusura del mercato (che nervoso, che nervoso) e il derby. Dai, dai, dai!

Adesso che il calciomercato è finito, mi esprimo. Nel complesso sono soddisfatto della campagna acquisti: rispetto agli anni passati di gran risparmio, perlomeno questa è stata a saldo zero e ha visto un rinnovamento che ha portato a ridurre l'età media della squadra.
A livello di titolari, l'Inter è sulla carta più debole, ma è migliorata nella profondità della rosa. Il centrocampo e gli esterni dell'Inter sono forse i migliori di tutta la Serie A, la difesa e i portieri sono accettabili, mentre l'attacco è l'incognita: dovremo fare affidamento alla vena realizzativa di capitan Lautaro.
Il "tradimento" di Lukaku è stato compensato dall'inaspettato ingaggio di Pavard, che ha le carte in regola per sostituire degnamente Skriniar; se il belga fosse tornato da noi, probabilmente avremmo ripiegato su un difensore meno promettente.

Sono il primo a complimentarmi con Inzaghi quando incarta Pioli, sarò il primo (almeno da queste parti) a criticarlo per il turnover di Champions. Alla fine abbiamo limitato i danni, ma sinceramente cambiare in maniera così intensa la squadra dopo un derby stravinto, in vista dell'esordio europeo in trasferta e sapendo di essere poi attesi dal facile, facile, facilissimo impegno di Empoli, è un secco "no, hai sbagliato mister". Real che tra l'altro aveva un giorno di riposo in meno, avendo giocato domenica col Real. Quanto alla partita di oggi, contento per il gran gol di Dimarco, ma sinceramente vedere Thuram in panchina a San Sebastian e titolare a Empoli è roba da allenatore psicopatico alla Guardiola. Vittoria per 1 gol a 0 contro una squadra che ha un parziale di 13 a 0 (2-0 la Juve, 7-0 la Roma, tra l'altro che razza di calendario, pensate quanto si sarebbero lamentati i presidenti delle big) e di 5 sconfitte su 5. Sarà pur vero che spesso sono queste partite brutte a fare la differenza tra il primo posto e il podio, ma se vogliamo essere onesti così non va.
Detto questo, mercoledì Sassuolo, sabato si va a Salerno, martedì Benfica a San Siro, e poi ancora Bologna e Torino. Senza alcun dubbio in campionato ci sono tutti i motivi per poter ambire ad altre tre vittorie consecutive, portando ad otto su otto il totale. Non c'è poi alcun motivo per cui un Inter semifinalista di Champions uscente e principale candidata allo Scudetto in patria non debba ambire a battere in casa i portoghesi, anche se va detto che la loro sconfitta della prima giornata è stata totalmente indirizzata da un'espulsione (con annesso rigore) nei primi minuti. Occhio quindi alla loro necessità di punti, tenendo presente che anche per noi un altro pareggio (o peggio) sarebbe decisamente un brutto colpo.

La vittoria di misura contro l'Empoli ci sta: una squadra non può dilagare in ogni partita di campionato, ci sono inevitabilmente dei momenti di stanca, specialmente a ridosso di coppe e infrasettimanali. Dall'Empoli ci si aspettava una reazione dopo il cambio di allenatore e l'ha avuta, giocando una partita dignitosa in cui comunque l'Inter avrebbe potuto segnare il 2-0

Può darsi che io sia stato troppo duro, però sono dell'idea che in Champions sia meglio non scherzare col fuoco e soprattutto che prima si supera il Girone, poi si pensa a fare calcoli e dare precedenze (se proprio bisogna farlo). Temo che la vittoria surreale del Milan contro il Genoa, viziata apparentemente anche da un gol irregolare, sia una di quelle partite-segnale che fanno capire come andrà a finire un campionato: in questo caso, col secondo scudetto di Pioli.
Tuttavia è ancora molto presto, c'è ancora molto tempo a disposizione per essere smentito.
