Suspicion è un thriller con Uma Thurman che si basa su una serie israeliana. Trama: When the son of a prominent American businesswoman (Thurman) is kidnapped from a New York hotel, the eye of suspicion quickly falls on four seemingly ordinary British citizens who were at the hotel on the night in question. As they find themselves in a trans-Atlantic cat and mouse race to evade the combined forces of the National Crime Agency and the FBI to prove their innocence, it becomes apparent that not everyone can be trusted. Hanno rinnovato per una seconda stagione Shadow and Bone su Netflix, e ne sono contento perché a me la prima stagione era piaciuta abbastanza.
Esce a fine mese la seconda stagione di Only Murders In The Building.
La prima l'ho appena finita di ri-vedere proprio in questi giorni, senza sapere che stava per uscire la seconda stagione, e non posso che confermare l'impressione che ho avuto inizialmente, ovvero che si tratta di una bellissima serie tv, che consiglio caldamente a tutti.

Un paio di serie che dovrebbero incontrare i gusti di questo forum (entrambe da fumetti):
Sandman è sostanzialmente la cosa che sto più aspettando quest'anno. Pur non avendo letto il fumetto (è una delle poche cose di Gaiman che non ho ancora affrontato), ma conoscendolo comunque "di sponda" per via della sua importanza in ambito narrativo, sono davvero curiosa di vedere questa trasposizione.
Sono abbastanza fiduciosa, anche per il modo in cui Gaiman è coinvolto e in cui sta parlando del progetto. Si capisce che è stata una cosa molto ponderata anche da parte sua, Sandman probabilmente è un po' il suo "figlio prediletto" e sicuramente non vuole volerlo rovinato (in un'intervista ha detto che ha passato gli ultimi 30 anni a rifiutare brutti adattamenti di quest'opera, per dire^^).

Io invece il fumetto l'ho letto (e amato), e più che curioso sono quasi preoccupato. Netflix ha già floppato alla grande con le ultime trasposizioni di fumetti/manga/anime, vediamo se con The Sandman dimostreranno di aver capito come si fanno le cose. 
Sì, infatti capisco benissimo il timore di chi ha più "attaccamento" all'opera in questione (con le dovute proporzioni, per me è stato uguale all'annuncio della scellerata serie sul mondo di Shannara.. che purtroppo è stata davvero una disfatta).
Qui però, per i motivi che dicevo prima, mi sembra che le premesse siano decisamente rassicuranti, tenendo però in conto che essendo una serie Netflix quindi orientata al mainstream, qualche minimo compromesso ci sarà per forza
C'è anche il fatto che Gaiman ha partecipato alla produzione, e questo è rassicurante - anche se non sempre il coinvolgimento diretto dell'autore è una garanzia, vedasi La Torre Nera o l'ultimo Hellboy...
Mmmm.... qualcuno sta cominciando a pensare che i draghi tirano... cosa che di per sè non è necessariamente un male ma i risultati negli anni non sono stati granché

Ci vedo anche un po' lo stile della recente serie su "Sabrina", che però avevo abbandonato dopo qualche puntata nonostante l'atmosfera generale fosse intrigante. Vedremo.
Tecnicamente quindi non dovremmo vedere la maggior parte dei vecchi personaggi...
