Nè Emilia nè Sophie o Maisie hanno fatto un granchè dopo la fine dello show, nonostante l'enorme notorietà e fanbase che la serie gli ha regalato.
Emilia ha fatto un paio di filmetti nel 2019, non so se prima o dopo la fine di GOT, e poi praticamente nient'altro; Sophie aveva fatto Dark Phoenix, sempre nel 2019 e poco altro, e pure Maisie un pò di cinema e tv, ma niente di successo.
Rose Leslie ha continuato a lavorare come prima, ma è chiaramente un'attrice migliore di tutte le altre qui citate, e si vedeva anche in GOT. La carriera di Gwendoline ha avuto un impulso dalla serie, ma non è che sia diventata una star.
Comunque sono quasi tutti finiti dalle parti della Marvel, anche la Clarke debutterà in Secret Wars tra non molto, vediamo come le va. Emilia comunque ha problemi di salute mica da scherzare, di certo avrà influito.

Emilia ha avuto due emorragie subaracnoidee da aneurismi cerebrali, che sono stati embolizzati. Il primo intervento l'ha fatto nel 2011, il secondo nel 2013, eppure ha continuato a recitare in GoT fino alla fine. Apparentemente non ha alcun esito neurologico, non visibile perlomeno. Non voglio minimamente sminuire quello che le è successo, deve avere passato dei momenti terribili. Però non credo che sia questo a limitare la sua carriera: se fosse, lo avrebbe fatto allora, non ora che sono passati quasi dieci anni.
Per chi, come @Lyra Stark, è appassionato del tema "GRRM che si confronta con altri autori", segnalo la dichiarazione del Nostro riguardo a Stan Lee:

Io però non stavo parlando del "mega-successo-interstellare" (anche perché quello, tra gli attori di GOT, probabilmente non lo può vantare nessuno^^), ma del fatto di non essere esattamente finite nel dimenticatorio e aver continuato ad essere presenti anche in produzioni di un certo livello (la Williams con la serie di Danny Boyle, la Turner nell'ottima The Staircase o la Christie che a breve vedremo in Sandman).
Per tornare in tema, dico che secondo me anche il modo in cui sarà accolta House of the Dragon potrebbe magari influire sulla decisione di fare o meno la serie su Jon Snow (che comunque a me sembra una pessima idea per i motivi che avete già espresso).

Un po' meglio Madden tra Cinderella (bleah), premio per bodyguard ma Eternals altro buco acquatico. Lui come Rose Leslie avendo lasciato prima probabilmente ha avuto più opportunità.

Eh appunto.. io dicevo proprio che tra quelli che hanno di fatto iniziato la carriera con GOT (quindi escludendo chi aveva già una certa esperienza prima), Harington mi sembra proprio quello che, finita la serie, ha fatto meno (numericamente e qualitativamente).
Come dici tu chi ha lasciato prima ha avuto più possibilità, l'esempio più eclatante forse è Momoa che addirittura con una sola stagione in un ruolo neanche da protagonista, alla fine è rimasto tra i più "conosciuti" e ha lavorato parecchio (non mi esprimo sulla qualità non avendo visto nulla di quello che ha fatto^^)
Anche lui però era già famoso prima.
