Bellissimo! Una perla 
Lo consiglio senza dubbio a quelli che magari ricordano con un pò di nostalgia l'horror di altri tempi.
Leggendo sulla pagina Wikipedia di Leslie Nielsen ho scoperto che era un grande appassionato di golf, e che ha girato anche filmati comici dedicati a tale disciplina. Ho fatto una breve ricerca su Youtube e ho scoperto che esistono tantissimi video di questo tipo caricati dai fan.

Alla fine ho visto anche Top Secret!, recensione qui. Nel complesso film godibile ma meno memorabile di altri come quelli storici con Leslie Nielsen, e probabilmente da vedere in lingua originale.
Ho visto anche Hot Shots! di Jim Abrahams con Charlie Sheen, recensione qui. Mi sembra il caso di fare un elenco dei film e serie tv demenziali dal 1980 in poi che ho visto o di cui comunque ho sentito parlare:
- Airplane! (1980) di David Zucker, Jim Abrahams e Jerry Zucker (ZAZ). È forse la data di nascita ufficiale del cinema demenziale. Da notare la comparsata nel film di Leslie Nielsen;
- Airplane II: The Sequel (1982) di Ken Finkleman. Comprende molti degli attori del film precedente ma il trio ZAZ non vi ha nulla a che fare. Non l'ho ancora visto ma lo recupererò di sicuro;
- Police Squad! (1982) di ZAZ. Miniserie tv televisiva che anticipa i personaggi e le atmosfere de La Pallottola Spuntata. Ho visto la miniserie e merita;
- Top Secret (1984) di ZAZ. Anche questo visto e probabilmente è quello della lista che è invecchiato meno bene, ma sicuramente è imprescindibile per gli amanti del genere;
- Una Pallottola Spuntata (1988) di David Zucker. Forse il film della lista che è invecchiato meglio e che mi fa ridere ogni volta che lo vedo. Merito principalmente della strepitosa interpretazione di Leslie Nielsen, ben supportato dal resto del cast;
- Una pallottola spuntata 2½ - L'odore della paura (1991) di David Zucker. Sequel del precedente e altro film divertentissimo;
- Hot Shots! (1991) di Jim Abrahams. Ne ho appunto parlato nella recensione;
- Hot Shots! 2 (1993) di Jim Abrahams. Devo ancora vederlo e non ne so molto a livello di trama se non che è una parodia di Rambo;
- Una pallottola spuntata 33⅓ - L'insulto finale (1994) di Peter Segal. Un po' sottotono e leggermente più volgare dei precedenti ma ugualmente meritevole;
- Zoolander (2001) di Ben Stiller. Un film decisamente bizzarro ma molto divertente, grazie alle interpretazioni di Stiller, Owen Wilson e Will Ferrell;
- Scary Movie 3 (2003) di David Zucker. Uno dei film più divertente che abbia mai visto, durante la mia adolescenza l'avrò visto una quindicina di volte e ogni volta ne trovo divertimento e soddisfazione. Conservo ancora gelosamente il DVD;
- Scary Movie 4 (2006) di David Zucker. L'ultimo film sanamente demenziale che valga la pena vedere. Meno divertente del precedente ma comunque spassoso;
- Zoolander 2 (2016) di Ben Stiller. Meno divertente del sequel ma senza dubbio divertente.
Oltre a questo andrebbe menzionata tra i film/serie tv da me conosciuti la serie tv Brooklyn Nine-Nine di cui si è parlato in questa discussione e di cui ho visto al momento solo la prima stagione, e che mi è sembrata abbastanza divertente ma non esattamente demenziale.
Ovviamente la lista da me fatta non è affatto esaustiva, in quanto non comprende i film più o meno demenziali di John Landis (Animal House, The Blues Brothers, Una poltrona per due e Il principe cerca moglie, giusto per citare i più famosi), gli sketch dei Monty Python e molto altro ancora.
Ho una curiosità: cosa ne pensi della saga di American Pie, e in generale delle commedie per ragazzi un po' sboccate? Secondo me si possono far rientrare nel filone della comicità demenziale, anche se non sono propriamente surreali.

Mai visto un film di questo tipo, ma ad occhio non ne ho una grande stima. Tuttavia hanno avuto un grande successo presso il pubblico americano a suo tempo quindi non posso emettere un giudizio completo.
Due film demenziali che invece mi generano assoluta repulsione sono i primi due Scary Movie, che sono violenti e volgari oltre ogni limite.
I primi due Scary Movie non li ho mai visti, nelle serate fra amici vedevamo sempre il terzo.

Anch'io ho visto solo il terzo film di Scary Movie, e mi pare che segni un punto di stacco rispetto ai primi due, avvicinandosi di più al filone di Hot Shots, non a caso è stato diretto da Zucker.

Come ho detto altrove ho iniziato a guardarla e sono arrivato all'episodio 4x04, quindi l'ho quasi finita. Devo dire che come sit-com merita davvero: personaggi indovinatissimi, trame semplici e surreali e anche le voci dei doppiatori italiani sono perfette, benché ogni tanto l'adattamento si prenda qualche libertà (più che altro quando si tratta di giochi di parole intraducibili dall'inglese). Concordo con Jacaerys che non è esattamente di genere demenziale, ma fa davvero ridere. Ha delle tematiche comuni con The Big Bang Theory per quanto riguarda la caratterizzazione dei personaggi nerd, ma ha un humour molto più inglese.
Credo che finora l'episodio più bello sia stato quello in cui Douglas Reynholm prende dallo stregone nel deserto il filtro d'amore per far innamorare Jen e poi con delusione scopre che è "solo" Roipnol. E poi viene costretto da Jen a berlo e comincia a infastidire Roy e Moss

La prima volta che mi parlarono di The IT Crowd me la descrissero proprio come la Big Bang Theory inglese, seppure a conti fatti la somiglianza tra le due serie sia solo superficiale.

Concordo appieno. I doppiatori di questa serie fanno sganasciare dalle risate 
Ho visto l'episodio finale di The IT Crowd e la sua riflessione su Internet e sui social è geniale
È uscita l'ottava e ultima stagione di Brooklyn Nine-Nine su Netflix. Io sono ancora fermo alla seconda ma con (molta) calma arriverò alla fine.
Oltre ad essere arrivato al quarto episodio di Call My Agent - Italia (bella brava comunque la Drago) ho visto la prima puntata della seconda stagione di LOL - Chi ride è fuori. Matano e Fedez sono quel tipo di persone che mi urtano la vista e l'udito e il primo episodio mi è sembrato fiacco, ma non posso non proseguire nella visione di uno show in cui vi sono il Mago Forest, Corradone Guzzanti, Maccio e Maria Di Biase.
