Ciao a tutti!
Sono ***Silk*** e prima di rompere il ghiaccio e decidere di iscrivermi ho seguito per diversi mesi le vostre discussioni.
Ho conosciuto il mondo del ghiaccio e del fuoco grazie alle serie TV 3-4 anni fa e da lì mi sono catapultata nella lettura dei libri di A song of ice and fire. E' stata una fortuna poterli leggere tutti e 5 di seguito perché l'attesa per TWOW è veramente dura... nel frattempo ho cercato di placare la mia curiosità con the world of ice and fire, i racconti di Dunk & Egg, the princess and the queen e the rogue prince.
Nella saga principale, trovo molto affascinante l'alone di mistero che avvolge Rhaegar, Lyanna e Ashara: dei personaggi appena accennati che hanno il potere di farti fare un sacco di viaggi mentali per poter riempire i tanti buchi che Martin ci ha lasciato su di loro.
Ho adorato la crescita di Jon, Sansa e Bran. Ed anche quella di Jamie. Mi sono piaciuti moltissimo i capitoli brillanti di Tyrion, soprattutto nei primi libri, i suoi dialoghi con Varys. Inizialmente mi piacevano molto anche quelli di Dany, soprattutto quelli in cui compare anche Viserys. Purtroppo poi negli utlimi libri i capitoli di lei sono diventati un po' più noiosotti. Peccato perché adoro i Targaryen!
E' stata una piacevolissima sorpresa quando SPOILER ADWD

Uno dei massimi interrogativi che spero George ci risolverà prima o poi è (spoiler D&E - TMK)
Vorrei tanto sapere che fine hanno fatto le uova di drago di Brightflame, Master Aemon e Bloodraven. Dai colori non sembrano essere quelle di Dany e difficilmente le loro possono essere state usate a Summerhall....
Sono rimasta terribilmente affascinata dalla Danza dei draghi e sarebbe bello che anche nella saga principale si potesse arrivare ad un punto dove si dedicherà più spazio anche a loro.
Passando dalla serie telvisiva ai libri mi si è aperto un mondo incredibile, molto più ricco, complesso, e affascinante di quanto non possa trasparire da GoT. In particolare dopo la lettura, ho notato che rispetto alle fonti originarie, dalla seconda serie è iniziato il tracollo verso il basso della serie. Nonostante il mio pensiero negativo sulla trasposizione mi permane comunque la grande curiosità di vedere dove D&D andranno a parare, per cui aspetterò i pochi giorni che ci separano dalla sesta stagione con un misto di trepidazione e terrore, soprattutto per i fatti del passato che ci presenteranno...
Spero di ambientarmi bene e non vedo l'ora di partecipare alle tante discussioni in corso!
